got a garrett ace250 here ..had it a couple of years rob..just got round to using it...learning it and getting ready for a bitta night work,when the crops get harvested..lol...... around £180 at amazon,might treat myself early xmas lol

interesting bits and bobs there,done a lot as a youngster detector was cheapo rubbish but kept us entertained as kids,sand dunes in kent full empty round cases and the odd cap badge plenty old pennies and tin foil lol. what would be a reasonable model to get back into it again been playing with the idea for last couple year now cheers

thanks mate, you should get few with your young dog now, it will help with its confidence with catching/retrieving . Buck good retriever he brought back from long distances many times and having few nights out with Buck ,plus his bike work he should be bang on I thought, well his fitness wasn't to bad at all that night . what lurcher x you got and whats its age + height .? dh/bull/grey mate,i did send you couple pics ages ago with his first retrieve ,16 month now and a tadd over 25tts,knows the lamp so ready to get him on a few more
