It's not only the wattage its the way its delivered. It's some thing to do with the drivers, it's a micro chip business. Now I'm getting out of my depth I'm sure you electronic geeks at the manufacturers will know.The leading led's for sheer power is XHP 70, that can put out over 3600 lms and the led with the throw (beam) is XHP 35 and that can give you 2500 lms. There are many other led's on the market, but these seem to have edge on performance and are in some of the newest torches. There are torches out there that put out over 16000 lms . Right I'm getting some were now with the company iv chosen to do the build and produce them. All input welcome.if you could put the most important thinks you need from a lamp is beam distance dimmer price built in battery external battery how many hours etc etc etc. Please put you points in order of importance. 1* dimmer 2* size of lamp 3* light weight and so on its jest to help me keep track as I'm dyslexic and would be much clear for me this way. Rubbish,the best lurcher owner,trainer,etc,etc.etc.cannot polish a turd long enough to make it a shiny fecking slayer.If the mutt is not bred to do a certain task then its a waste of time spending brass on polish to shine the surface when underneath its a turd. OK I stand corrected.

There is no best lurcher jest good owners that are 100% committed in every way to theyer dogs some owners will have good dogs but never now it. Breeding plays it part but Evan best breeding will not make good dog in the rong hands
