    i think the bedlingtons lads have for rock are a hybred type with lakey , fell or border to bring size down with what lads say on here thay work very well in rock mate

    I did some rock work with a man called Alan he had about 12 terriers on some was for rock an some for digging, thay was all black an tan with odd red one I think thay was border lakeys , one day on the piles he had a little black an tan bitch called rocky she was 10 year old she killed her first fox we no she did as we dug 8 foot to find bitch with dead fox she did two hours in that pile we moved on an she bolted two more did about an hour with first one bolted she found again an bolted after about harf hour, the little bitch did not have meny teeth Alan said if she got the uper hand on the fo

    A good rock dog is not a failed earth dog how do you work that out?, I've done rock work but nowt like some of the lads on here are doing, calling man cock for working rock it's you who been a cock mixedgrill. Lads do rock as it's all thay have to work there terriers

    When a fox is ran into the rock it can be a very testing time for the terrier and man the fox will go very deep you try with the box but you no your not getting a mark with box but you still try an as hours pass by you look again maybe thay have moved and it can be days before you see your dog again or never again. When my mate lost his bitch in a big deep pile a rock pile she worked for 8 seasons we went back day an nite for a month or more we never found her.

    I lost a Beddy greyhound she was good working around rock piles gutted when she was run over an killed, I have old Beddy whippet retired he 10 now he was good to have on piles mate, pic of old tedlikes to spend his days on the sofa now
