is this not right on the end poles? Theres nothing wrong with the end poles going through the end meshes, in fact it does a tidy job. But, using the stop net as a traditional net would mean that you have to thread them every time you set the net and that takes up a lot of time. As I said, there is nothing that says you should not, and as I have preached on here often enough it's about finding your own way, if your happy doing it, thats all that matters. TC as far as i can gather....apart from being a way of 'staking and tensioning' the head/footline.... the only other pur

yep. will weaken it... but enjoyed making it...and i will just shoot it myself.... so if it does cause and injury.... its me who has to deal with it should be fine with a set of singles....

right BAW ya fanny... like has already been said...the black widow...and the many cheaper variants with the attractive names....cobra....etc.... are extremely iconic. you go into most fishing shops and they will have some there (or they used to) .... mention a black widow to somebody...and they will know what one is....most will have had one my point about them being shiite....was compared to the many smaller...more powerfull catapults around today... im not sure what a black widow retails at now....but i seen them at the yorkshire for 25+ quid.... to spend 25quid on

im not sure if your on the wind up....again but black widows are shiite

got a few yards of netting off a mate of mine....free of charge... ... idea...was to make a short...stop net...for ferreting...to sit off the fence line for bolting rabbits...making way down the fence.... so measured the net....halved it for bagging and ran the cord through... didnt have any end pins.... so i improvised couple of hazel offcuts...roughly 8" long with a hole drilled through.... NOW...i KNOW ....these arent ideal.... and they will be hard to put into tough ground... but they will do for now.... will get some decent endpins soon as..

Had a walk out early morning with the dogs and my son...including the ever gaining cassie.... took a couple of pictures i though were nice.. at around 4pm...once it was cooling down a little... i decided to take a ride up the reserviour with my neighbour...whos on his R&R from afghan at the minute.... kitted out with our bike trailers we loaded our sons up and headed on a leasurely cycle...with my wee whippet in tow. got up to the far end of the reserviour and whipped out the kids picnic... took a couple of shots as we sat

i dont know the guy.... and im not quoting anybody elses words... from what i can gather.... it would be hard to have your dogs worked satisfactory...when you have many litters... if you mate a bitch...how long is she out if action for?... theres lads get stick on here for breeding a bitch...once the 'how many hard seasons has she done' ....'has she proved herself'....questions start.... they all get shiit for it i see on the whippet archives...sooty sam...lord of the knight...strike while the irons hot... werent bred by mike?... dont get me wrong.... im not

MB works his dogs?... every dog?? really? dont see what you can get from mike brown that you cant get from any other guy who has a working whippet... id rather buy from somebody...who has 1 honest whippet....regardless of its pedigree

any classes for 3 legged, hopping dogs den WHAT!.... no 'will there be a class for my wee beddy?' -
Nothing I suppose....... But, what you are looking at is a specially designed tool for a specific job, and an increasingly rare vintage tool as well. What does a Rolls Royce do that a standard car doesn't? can see what your getting at.... ill stick to a 1.99 hammer out of B&M's
-
dont think ill be going ayrshire lass.... good luck with the show lads
-
what does that do different...to a standard hammer

i seen your name on this thread.... and KNEW you would ask that!
