    Well... CONGRATULATIONS Ross..... on becoming a dad for the first time!.... Wee georgie was born at 16:51 today @ 8lb 11ounces.... Ross will have a grin from ear ... and be proud as punch.... And rightly so.. A future ferreter...lamper.... and pain in the arrse (in 18 years time).... All the best mate!

    Set to work for half an hour this afternoon.... Cutting out the catapult.... then work with the dremmel... Sanded out some finger 'grooves' ... to keep a nice hold on it... Then... whilst drillin out the band holes... the drill bit snapped...still in the frame! Had to get it out with a little force... Still lots of work to do on it... but the shapes there.... and sits well QUITE a bit thicker than my previous catty.... i do like the small thin one... so be interesting to see how i feel about this once finished

    Lay the net out.... stick a few poles in just to keep the net up (makes it easier to weave).... and get threading.... Thats how i done it..... when i fcuked it up the first time....

    If you buy sheet netting.... the top and bottom bottom meshes usually have a bit of cord through them.... If so, just tie your length of cord onto that.... and pull through....... Otherwise..... lay the net out...tie your cord onto a large nail.... and get 'threading' all the way through
