the army surplus stores get all the shite there is no way they can get goretex, coldweather boots for £20...no chance. they are worth way more. im at a loss selling them boots at £65 but i dont need them anymore. goretex in the surplus stores isnt the new stuff like ive got, its double lined and not the shit that the water soaks into. army issued g10 boots which you must be on about for £20 are feckin shite, made of compressed cardboard with a layer of leather over the top. no padding and blister city. cheers for hijacking my post ya jack c**t SENSE is spelt wrong in your signatu

There's no point in turning it into an argument. If the servicemen pulled out of Afghanistan etc then we would still have a job. We shouldn't be in these countries as it is. I'm not bothered about mosques or all that shit. All I know is if you was in a Muslim country and you put a foot wrong then you get punished, if you put a foot wrong over her you get given benefits and praised. I cat be arsed arguing, I've heard it all before and people losing their lives for this countries money fucks me off. Whether it's right or wrong don't get a say, we just do a job. Atb

It's not the talibans country! Most of the Taliban is from Pakistan. The Taliban was a force that overthrew the afghan government and then started killing innocent people under their version of sharia law. There's loads of talks in afghan with the Taliban. Called a shura. Every week in Our camp there was Taliban members cAme in to demand things, and our heirachy f****n gave them it. The Same people that were planting ied's, shooting at us the dAy befor and the same peoe which killed our joys, yet we had to just stand there and do nothing because of rules! Mate, I was in the navy for 18months before I joined the army. I was on the aircraft carrier hms illustrious. I agree with you. The navy is in shit state aswell as the army. They have something like % less ships than they did in the Falklands. They haven't got the power to go to war as it stands. The army is cutting back on thousands of soldiers because they are skint yet they are spendin 80million a day in Libya. You can imagine the amount they are spending in Afghanistan. They are treating us soldiers like shit and not helping us. They won't give some war- injured soldiers Disability benefit

A friend of mine never used to shut up about how his uncle caught Lymes desease from a tick and it attacked his nervous system. Don't know how true this is. That's what Happened in northern Ireland. Government were forced to negotiate. The russians failed to beat the Taliban an so has everybody who has tried.
