    I got that innertube as i wanted to try it as id heard its what the older lads used on their cattys. I stretched it out it in my hand snd it ripped and snapped!! Maybe the innertubes of today are made of different stuff? Heres the actual re banded catty

    Made a couple of catapults. Purely to try out the shape and see how it felt in my hand. I only had MDF lying abiut so i didnt try too hard with finishing as i know it wont last. I like the black one as it fits nicely in your hand and its a nice shape. The other one has very short dankung 1745 bands and seem really accurate as you can get the maximum draw out of the wee bands. Just need to find a nice piece of wood to make a decent one now i like the shape/size. I wonder how long the MDF will last?

    just got some dankung 1745 and dont like it at all. i much prefer the theraband tubing or the dub dub.

    it does seem a good idea and somebody with more of a design head, tools and time on their hands could take it further and make it look better. i just drilled 4 holes and went from there. was re banding the catty anyway as the draw was too long on it for me.

    Just a bit of fun mate. But can see the benefits if your out and the bands snap. Then you have a backup. Band it with both theraband or whatever you like. Was just messing about with the dankung.

    Thinking of the banding method i like. Paracord through the faulks and the bands attached to the cord. So i set about modifying my trusty wooden catty to take the bands this way. Then i was struck with an idea. They dont come very often but once in a while i come uo with one that could change the world Why not have 2 bandsets on one catapult? So i adapted the design of the loops through the faulks so the cord runs down the front of the catapult and out halfway down the faulks to take the pressure off the top section and keep the unsightly knot away from the top.     i have a selection of brand new catapults for sale. All are oak faced laminate and strong Each catapult has double theraband gold bands tapered 25 to 20mm....EXCEPT THE FIRST 2. The first has TRIPLE theraband gold extreme tapered 30 to 20mm and is extremely powerful. It takes a lot of 'pull' to draw it but doesnt half sling the ammo! The pouch on this is thicker and heavier to take the strain of larger ammo. The second has 'pro active' silver/white bands tapered and is nice and light to draw but still very powerful.     2012 model. 50cc mini quad. Only been used once by me on christmas day. Selling as my lad doesnt like it (too noisy)so just bought him an electric one.( the wife wont let me keep it ) Fits in the back seats of the car so is easy transported. Ive upgraded the carb,fuel filter and pull start. It runs sweet and is really quick. I paid 250 for this just before xmas from www.funbikes.com and its virtually new. I have a spare clutch for it and a k&n air filter. Also have a mixing bottle. Runs on 20:1 but ive been running it a bit thinner than that. Great fun and

    what people dont realise is if they gave permission to a lad/lamping pair etc then they would watch the land for them. you look after your permission and it will look after you. if he gives a little he would gain a lot.
