I had a posh w*nk in the middle lane southbound on the M74 a few years back. Wasn't until I'd nearly finished that I realised the trucks to the left of me were all higher up, so could probably see me thrapping one out and may have even called the police. I had to get rid of the evidence

I'm amazed that in this day and age, some people are that arrogant they believe they know everything about everything I think alot of it is bollox, but I've seen some strange things as have close friends who refuse to believe in the paranormal, but just say they can't explain it. I wouldn't allow anyone to bring one into the house, never mind do one myself! Whether these things are 'real' or not, reality is created in your mind so the last thing you want is to feck yourself up... Interestingly a lot of magic practitioners claim that summonings etc aren't physically real, but rather figments of your imagination, literally. Which in their opinion, makes it all the more dangerous. Anything I don't understand I tend to steer clear of, I'm sure most on here whether 'believers' or not have had strange experiences...

After watching 'Coppers' and various other documentaries, I've come to the conclusion that they react the way they do because they are either bored, or they find it so exciting they can't help but scream and shout. Shouting frightens frightened people... Me and my mate pulled 2 fat birds a few years ago , he decided to get up and p*ss in her wardrobe in the middle of the night then go back to bed. Love how so many use morals and ethics to back up a sport... I wouldn't shoot one for sport, but I'd do it to control numbers. So many say it's wrong, and if the comments on here are anything to go by, simply because they feel hares belong to them, it's their sport and no-one else has the right to touch a species they have claimed as 'theirs'. ''There's no other way to do it besides coursing!'' Yeah, maybe in your ideal world, where animals are killed for sport as opposed to being killed for a need. Agreed - to me (albeit as a shooter) they're just another animal. Even though I enjoy hunting I don't class it as a sport, if a farmer asks me to get rid of a few then so be it. If a farmer asked a dogman to do the same when it was legal, then I really don't see the difference. As I said, if an estate was shooting 'hundreds' in one day then there was definately a problem with overcrowding... So while I wouldn't go to a driven shoot for the 'sport' I'd go if I was needed, and wouldn't shed a tear because it didn't have a sporting chance

A lot are not actually shot dead , they are shot and wounded then crawl away to die a slow lingering Death. With Coursing they actually live or die no iffs or buts, one or the other. BAN Hare shooting, its the only Ban i would advocate. What a winner you sound like... I take it you'd know about how many hares die a ''slow lingering death''???? Never shot a hare, but I guarantee a 12 gauge at 20 yards hitting it won't cause it to die any slower than having its neck broke by a dog.

Yes it is a travesty, but it's because of spineless polititians, 'expert' advisors, and (allegedly) public opinion, not because I think it should be illegal. You're the one that's crowing on mate, even though I shoot I think hare coursing should be allowed, and if I had any input, it would. I enjoy every countrysport, from running dogs to terriers, falconry to shooting. I only shoot exclusively because I don't have the time to look after another dog or raise and train a bird. I was out in the fields today after pigeons, literally just got back. As I parked up there was a hare running down the road, and a couple in the field... Could have shot them there and then, but there was no reason to kill them so left them alone - got into the tree line, had a seat and watched them roam about the place. As a shooter I don't see problems with controlling them, but if there isn't a need to shoot something then don't. If an estate can manage to kill ''hundreds'' in one day then I'd suggest they definately had an overcrowding problem?
