i think you find well mannered young terriers stock broken on mutton fur and feather often fail they get confused as what to do the hole smells of every thing they've been told to leave , very faint smell of something trained to get , and if the keeper or land owners not with so much better you've moved them on .

never mind the attacks by the polar bears too, theyre defo loyal companionsi was watching a documentary about polar bears coming way further south since the ice caps started melting and they are crossing into grizzly territory and a few hybrid matings have occurred with the offspring been bigger than both. Polar bears are meant to be sneaky cnuts and have killed humans when the people with them never even heard or seen it coming. Stealthy fcukers it's much safer having a dog as a companion to sound the alarm. there was a guy got in trouble for shooting a white bear thinking it was polar whi

Top photo is a Pedigree Patterdale terrier? Bottom photo is a Bull / Russell (Didn't Bert Gripton's terriers have that blue spotting in them?) Bert Gripton Terrier 01.jpg What is the breeding behind this dog, interested in hearing what people think. Terrier 2017.jpg A guess would be staff bull x pat put back over same reverse bred .......long guess .Handsome chap anyway . FD That is similar to what I believe most dogmen would say. If you saw this dog in the street and you had to guess, i do not think any person who is interested in terriers would not see the

there is no doubt of bull blood being added , but i'm sure it wasn't staff blood , think you find when Cyril Breay was asked how his bull looking bitch gem was breed he was quoted he believed the line originated in Wales

Glyn..... replied to Haiddheliwr's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
its the way of the world now, i still have as much permission even more than i had 30 years ago , since thermal imaging its desert for terrier work there are still populations on land that was/is no go , but if they poke there heads out they are gone , before the areas not touched used to feed and repopulate but not any more , only plus side is ground nesting birds ,hare and rabbits on the increase , better get a ferret again ! -
