Well, my mate wants a lurcher it will be his first dog he don't know what to get he was gonna get a bull grey but I laughed at him told him it was too much for a first dog he wants some advice. I suggested that he get a whippet X but he still wants some owners advice. He wants it for rabbiting he has been out with me and a few other mates and he really is hooked on it now. Any advice for him

My dog Is a deerhound/greyhound X saluki/greyhound but he looks just like a pure saluki the feathered ears tail and little bit on the legs lol it's a bit of luck really

My mates dog was 22inch tts at 8 month but by 15 month it was 26 inches it just takes time

I have acually never seen one of these dogs in the flesh there is lots of vids on YouTube

The breed is not as previously believed, closely related to the Saluki. DNA testing has shown that these two breeds are only remotely related. The Sloughi's closest relative is the Azawakh lol I only know this cos I own a saluki and wanted to know the difference too.I hear that they are very similar in ability and hunting style of greyhound and they are known as being quite rare (pure bred) in some countries. hope it helps

Nice dog that mate and yes salukis are stubborn mine is a little sh*t he is a topa dog though mine is a deerhound/ greyhound X saluki he has all the feathered ears and tail I think your dog is a quater saluki , he looks very confident. Atb with him
