that was my point in this thread mate just my view but looking at the way present show seen going we all at to learn dog grooming and the art of sucking up to some judges anus a dog in the show ring is what i supposed to be jugded on its potential ability to work not on its owners ability to talk crap why on earth are dogs that show signs of scars and obvious working injuries looked upon by judges as imperfect when its clear they do the job a lurcher is meant to do what a big sett of air sucking selfcentered farts

ive seen people pull up with vans full of lurchers of every type and terriers of all types as well not one of them could do a decent days graft and that is plain for all to see but the judges seen many a scared up dog bull cross and others been frowned upon why call them working dog shows its a load of old crap leave dog shows to crufts

what makes a person want to judge others lurchers and how do they pop up as experts ive stopped taking my dogs for this reason some of the people judging others lurchers havent got a clue and just lick arse others are on ego trips i was taking to a judge and he told me he was taking it easy with his dog of 3 years which he had since pup and stated he had 13 bunny with it in that time iwouldnt dare tell any one me dog had only that in three year he has terriers which he also judges and doesnt work his whats that say to you about his dogs ive seen judges who think they no the far end of

i have had dogs that shy away from fences and hedges when coursing bunnys i know sometimes its a bit of abummer and gets me right pissed off but id rather still have the dogs to run other times i think if the dog had just put that bit extra presure on the bunny might have turned away from hedge and got caught but if the dog as had several accidents whie close tofence or hedge its going to shy of unless its a brain dead type in which case you going to have some big vet bills in the course of its working life which could be even cut short

i like me bull crosses allways will but the image most people got is of greengrasses dog out of heart beat or of a very racey looking dog not of a dog with a head like a football and thick sett body the average person thinks the bull cross is slow but in the right mix of greyhound in them the can be fast and racey

cant go far wrong with your choice of dogs that you considered mate also worth a mention is whippet xgreyhound they normally medium in size fast and can and often do take most british game good luck in your serch right dog

mate youve had to feed pup and kits and buy ya netts carrying box ect what he on about give them away and would anybody not try and get some of their costs back good luck to you on sale its not a fortune for whats on offer

ive had loads of diffrent combinations of lurcher bred dogs but in my view the best combinati0n is the one you catching with now no good looking back at what was or might of been its what ya doing now any cross is as good as you trained it to be ive seen many unusual crosses such as lassie collie greyhound do same job as deerhound xgreyhounds its whats in the dogs that you got to bring out to make them work

never had that problem mate but would be tempted to kill but would allso tempted to get me self a cub for handrearing as i love keepimg unusual pets so id be in bit of a do it dont do it frame of mined but if your not sure mate just protect your hens as best you can and enjoy your own wildlife show 24/7

why do somekeepers think they are above the law and take matters into their own hands by beating poachers up kicking their dogs and taking what they want off you i understand its their jobs to look after land and game on it but some are pure motherless twats and love nowt better than to brag of their antics i would do anything to get permmision on local estates but its finding a foreskin in jewsish temple id do what ever asked and have but mention lurchers and its see ya pall fck the ban

only my views but a dog is what its worth to you as a hunting dog other peoples views on its ability might differ and in most cases do a bunny catching dog to a person who only do bunnys value of that type of dog would be far greater than the teeth and claw dogs some of us like i my self like a dog with plenty bite power and no fear so would rate it above all others in value you cant put a value on adog that is a team member and trys its hardest every time you go out and contributes to you days sport i have to say in my experiance that alot of people have difrent veiws and some are cash moti
