ive just or should i say had got 3 hens given for my 7 year old son and permission of same chap to keep on his field in 6/4 garden shed we went down to day and 2 hens gone feathers all over and third bird had no head ive put a cat trap type cage with the body of hen in and hope we get it my son devastated will get him couple more when fox is dead or gone ps it will be humanely put down if caught

very we'll said i dont disagree mate all i was trying to say was that some judges seem to me have no real knowledge of how or what a show is about and when it does state working dog show it should be that and not judged on weather or not you get invited for a lamping trip and you should at least know that judge as some years in the sport of hunting with dogs as this would at least give their veiws some credit i dont show but have heard many people who are of simalar veiws

at one time mate he was kenneling dogs for pinky mate but think they not on speaking terms mainly terriers i dont know how he judges every time i seen him proping bar up given it the great white hunter stuff the year i went kipper youngy and is mates well taking piss out of him and is dog which they renamed bang bang kettle as all he kept saying was bang and our nettle got another bunny so when they asked for dogs in his bitches class they told them it was called bang bang kettle when its realy called nettle we alljust fell about in kinks bang bang nettle his best dog ever

id be still hunting mate birds of prey harrises or something long them lines mate ive got pidgeons tumblers which help pass the long hours away before hunting season starts properly again -
im hand rearing a crow lads its just getting feathers now feeding well on day old chicks and bunny cut up in small bits what id like to know is have any of you ever trained one to free fly to glove and do they talk as some have said not dog related as you can see but im into all things like this

sorry i know this is falconry site but some of you lads might be able to give advice i am handrearing a crow it is now just getting feathers feeding it on day old chicks rabbit dog food what i was wanting to know is would it be possible to train crow to fly free and return to fist also been told that they can learn to do tricks and even talk is that possible any advice or experiances of others who had corvids

i went to shows mate thinking same as you but it wasnt fun to nany people taking what was i thought a bit fun deadly serious lot of slagging dogs and people of maybe at some shows its diffrent im not as some people say on here a moaning attention seeker id never been to shows and only took my scared up dog as i had aranged to stud him with a bitch after show and met the owner at the show any one on here who knows me will tell you im no attention seeker or moaning git just wasnt ezpecting the show seen to be so competitive or serious and judges to be so inconsistent

Firstly why bother with these shows if you have such a dislike for them? Firstly why bother with these shows if you have such a dislike for them? Secondly why take a scared up dog to one of these shows knowing the judges dont even give that type of dog a second look? Maybe your an attention seeker? not me mate ill be out wi dogs walking never going to another show my dogs wank and rather watch paint dry never been to one in last 5year pall I would bet you will be at more of these shows you so hate this summer getting so pissed off because your not getting the attention you think you so deserve

dont worry about agro if he wasnt that bothered about leaving dogs with his missus then he cant be that bothered about dog if i was in your place id keep dog inform police myself as to what went on and make sure i kept me dog runs locked and forget about him and enjoy the pleasure of working the dog

That's right mate, most dogs were working dogs to begin with, it's showing that fecked 'em up. the younger generation seem more into good lookers than good workers mate and not all but lot seem to read to much into shows good looks never put food on the table not unless you a pross

their some people now buying lurchers and terriers for their show potential and this can only lead to inferior dogs with little or no working abilty been to pontoppike show and blanchland seaham most northeast shows over the years not showing but before i was into dogs 20 plus year ago the dogs at the shows then were purely for working now its for extra value that it puts on your dog with the ribbons on its collar
