    I'm with skycat, always stretch and rub before a race, a lot of others i know don't bother but then they don't win either. My big girl mags had a big dog fox (pre ban of course) straight in the shower when she got home, rub down and tcp on any cuts , she slept all afternoon but right as rain and ready to go again tomorrow. if you think about it all athletes stretch and warm up or cool down after strenuous running it's only common sense really!!!. What really pissed me off was she rolled in fox shit before the hunt so she smelt right!!!!! (only nature really i suppose

    One brave dog you've got there mate. Wasnt my dog matie, was my pals I travelled with at the time..I did use him on one of my bitches though before this happened..one of those dogs that you loved, and who have jumped at the chance to have him if you could..and Im not a soft c**t, but the tears roled down my face when we came away from the vets without him You don't have to be soft to cry over a good working do mate, the only time i ever saw my father cry was when his dog had been poisoned and had to be put down...

    My two little whippet X's don't make a sound but the big girl deerhound x greyhound cries even if she sees me getting the nail clippers out, in the vets she a big wimp just like her owner, Steve.
