    Trouble is Mark the money i have spent on a reg and tune ,then longer cylinder and shroud , I could of got another HW100 k !! Saying that though , its a lot lighter than a HW100 specially with my NV on top

    Well, you touch on a good point re the mag. Ive found its a design flaw. Like all rapid magazines, they work on gravity, and when aiming up wards in a tree say, take a shot, pull the lever back to load another, pellet falls out the back of the magazine. [May have told you already in pm] Annoying but not enough for me to not like the rifle. Ive also found that accuracy is A LOT better hand loading the breech. Shocking how much it drops off though over ten yards. Especially being so flat from 20 to 30. Same thing happened to me with the Regal and most daystate guns , if you watch

    I decided to have a longer cylinder on my BSA ultra se ,but after speaking to Carl from http://www.airtechrifles.co.uk/ he said i needed a shroud as well ordered a 325 cylinder and a carbon fiber 28 mm shroud , well it came to day so got straight to it changing everything over . The over all length of the ultra with the shroud , is the same as with a HW mod on a standard gun ,so no longer, which is good and just as quiet if not quieter than a HW mod . It's made the gun better balanced as well and should be able to get about 90 shots from a fill May be not everybody's cup of tee to the

    My hw100 is sitting at a constant 11,78 with jsb exact jumbo 15,89gr dont no what the fps is mind but with the fap being a lighter pellet i will have to crono her as she is close to the limit with the jsb and may be even closer with the fap The raider is even closer to the limit with jsb but still under just lol atvbmac :thumbs: 11.78 ft/lbs is 578 fps ,the falcons should be about 11.5 ft/lbs 623 fps

    I think a lot of Regal owners will be with you on that point . I so much wanted to like this gun ,in the end had no confidence after one problem after another , but like i said if I can get another one cheap then i will and spend some money getting it how it should of been for a £800 gun !!

    One of the best pellets in HW100k .177 and my HW97k .177 is the AA Express 7.9gr or even a tad better is the JSB Express 7.9gr ,that's what i am running through mine with fantastic results ,even at long range Tried the falcons in .177 but now where near the Express

    I dont know DJ , i wash and lube my pellets , but will have a look at the JSB RS tomorrow ,FAP are cheaper i know that
