  1. Yes it was mate , bloody good deal as well ,trouble is most gun shops are trying to move all the old stock on because of the new r10 is out this week in most shops
  2. All you have to do to get more shots about 90 is put on 355 mm cylinder
  3. I had two r10 but could never get on with them for some reason ,also had two ultras both brilliant So why do you think it's not for you , for what reason ?
  4. Countryways gun shop are kicking out new bsa r10 for £525 or cheaper if anybody is interested
  5. Perhaps it should be touched with shooting like that or is it because you are just a shit shot Only Saying like
  6. The new r10 looks good on paper but i have had two and for some reason i can't get on with them But after having the best gun ,it would be hard to beat them IMO
  7. Looks tasty but this one is one of my favorites with nice crusty french stick or french bread http://www.blackface.co.uk/recipes_detail.asp?recipeID=150
  8. HW100, been top for the last 10 years or more
  9. I think that any gun can be improved with a little tweaking or tuning. The margin of improvement when tuning a Pro Sport or TX is marginal compared to the bigger differences when properly tuning a HW97. The biggest improvement on a PS or TX is in fettling the trigger mechanism. All you need to do to a 97 is a polish had a V-mach hit in my .177 97 but far to harsh in the end took it out, a quick polish now it's doing 11.3 and about 4 fps spread and the same with my .22 ,so hardly a proper tune
  10. Nice mac and little hunter . Great guns aren't they mac
  11. Sounds like bollocks then when people say it's better than a 97 straight out of the box , i don't think so after reading other comments ,not just on this forum and from other shooters as well
  12. I do a lot of pellet testing with all makes ,shapes and sizes . I only put results on here to show others what works in my guns and my other shooting mates guns ,if the rest want to take it on board it's up to them . Mark seems to be using his .22 more now after recommendations of falcon accuracy plus and not just from my say so but other too If other want to keep to meat and 2 veg for dinner that's great but try something a bit different ,you never know you might like it better and that goes with anything including pellets !!
  13. It's not sheep , if they work in your barrel what more do you want but saying that i can't stand H&N pellets
  14. Try JSB heavies ,i bet they will be somewhere near 11.8 not gonna bother with the jsb's vm they don't stock them locally and I've got issues with the quality! you pay premium and get pound land quality! there are far better out there if you look outside the must have box atb si Always found them spot on and a few on here will say the same
  15. I don't think so Phil they look the same and weigh the same
  16. Try JSB heavies ,i bet they will be somewhere near 11.8
  17. No it doesn't look cheap ,like i said i will wait for a few more really reviews and wait for my local RFD to get one in Some body on face book recons he only get 40 usable shots from his HW110 , not good and if that is the case with them ,then my money will stay under the bed
  18. I use them in all my .22 guns and another good pellet in .22 is JSB Express 14.3gr , these a are a lot better in my HW97k and Express in .177 are great pellet too
  19. Mark , These pellets are gun in most .177 , I use them in my HW97 as well Could never get them to work in any of the BSA PCP guns ,kept jamming , BUT found if you push the pellet in the mag a bit further ,no jamming and deadly accurate ,tried them in my ultra and r10 fantastic !! Voymir are great to deal with ,well packaged and quick to come ,been using them for a few years now and never had a problem
  20. imo the whole gun is superp nice weight to it not to heavy and not to light
