im not really bothered what breed my dog is as long as it works to the standard i want it to thats all that matters to me iv got a bull x at the min but i like all breeds of lurcher atb -

hello iv just been getting myself a terrier pup and i am thinking of doing a bit of ratting with it when its older iv never done any ratting before with terriers so id like a bit of advice from people who go ratting regular with terriers. what is the best age to start a terrier of on rats and do the terriers need any special injections to cover against diesease as i know rats can carry alot. thanks for any advise atb

hello there i was talking with a friend of mine tonight about what age people start training a terrier pup to go to ground and it got me thinking how people train there terriers. i personally try them about 9-10 month old running them through empty sets with an experianced dog i always let the experianced dog in first just to make sure theres nothing at home before letting the pup follow the experianced dog through the set. im just curious to know how people train their terriers and what things people do differently to others. atb

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-24159293 seen something on the news tonight about this seems that theres an operation in cumbria and scotland it was saying there trying to clamp down on hare coursing all over the country as well there wanting people to ring the police if they see a lamp going or anything suspisious. i hope the charges get dropped against you sock atb pal

i used to use a hella 2000 spotlight rigged up out of a brush handle doorbell and tape till my dad got hold of it and bolted it all together also used a stag motorbike battery with it i used to walk for miles with that heavy set up. i think iv still got the lamp somewhere im using a lightforce lamp now with a lithium battery. atb
