  3. i only used to bolt the rabbits i never dug for them i thought it was only illegal to disturb a badger sett by digging on it which i never did. i was only after the rabbits i had no intrest in the badgers that lived there. It would still be classed as disturbing the sett mate so yeah its illeagal and the fines you would get are huge plus the confiscation of any animals and tools you used Yup, doing anything to a badger sett is a no no in the eyes of the law, and i think netting it up and running stinkers through it probably counts as 'disturbing'. i e mailed a hunting solicitor

  5. i never had a problem ferreting it i used to get good numbers of rabbits out of it to.

  7. heres a couple of my kits out of my litter some of them's sandy and some white the jill was mated with a big albino hob iv tried to take a photo of the jill but she would 'nt stop still for a desent pic so i gave up
  8. nice kits pal that sandy one in the bottom pic looks exactly like my jill she's just recently had a litter of 11 kits 2 died so left with 9 there nearly 5 weeks old and all doing well.

  10. strip some wire back and see if it gone a black colour like its burnt i had this happen on 2 of my lamps it took me ages to figure out what it was i tried everything new bulb new switch new end where the bulb slots into then i noticed the wire was a black colour instead of a copper colour so rewired them and they both work fine now. good luck fixing it
  11. i use sherley's tick away kills them straight away then pull them off with the otom tick twister iv tried frontline before it killed the fleas but didnt work on the ticks dont know why.
  12. SO why not have something that you like the look of ? or that is a diff to just the norm abeano with red eyes . couse you will send a lot of time with it .   15. hello pal i normally start my ferrets off ferreting at 6 months old i wait till i see a rabbit going into a small set then enter the ferret i start on small sets and work up to bigger ones as the ferret gets more experiance. when there young i put pipes down for them to play in to get them use to going down holes.

  17. iv got a hob that is loosing fur on its tail and i dont know why its tail is nearly bold on the end does anyone know why this is happening?
  18. one of my mates had this problem what we did was got a dead rabbit put it on to a dog lead and pulled it round in front of the dog till it started picking it up then praised the dog every time it picked the rabbit up it soon came right and he's never had a problem with the dog since. good luck hope the dog comes right for you
  19. hello pal just have a go at the rabbits now or you might loose permission the farmer wont want baby rabbits or adult rabbits on his land. if you do a good job it could lead to more permission.
  20. bulldog spade perfect little spades for ferreting easy to carry miles better than carrying a big spade about with you.
