  1. hello pal welcome to the site you have to resize your pictures to what size it tells you to on the upload page i had problems as well at first to so i edited and resized mine and that seemed to work. hope this helps you pal.
  2. i had same thing happen i lent my locater and collar out and never got it back when i asked the lad for it back he said that he had gave it to my other mate so when i questioned my other mate he said he never gave him it and he was talking crap he even showed me all his locators to prove he hadnt got it. so in the end after a load of shit i just wrote it off and dont even speak to the lad now iv replaced it now and wont lend anyone anything else ever again.
  3. hello pal this is my setup just 3 cages on top of each other iv also got a 4ft x 4ft cage run in my garden which i put them in to give them all some exercise.

  6. yes i know pal im not bothered like iv bred ferrets once before when i was in my teens so i sort of know what to expect ill soon get rid of them all if she is pregnant theres plenty of people wanting them round here.

  8. thanks pal ill just keep an eye on her and time will tell. i think she will be cause she's been kept in same cage as a male so god knows how many times it's been at her.
  9. i just got a jill last night and when i went to pick it up i noticed that it was in season and that it was in the same cage with a hob i was just wondering how long does it take for the swelling to go down after the jill has been lined? i think that she might be pregnant cause her nipples are swelling up is this one of the first signs of being pregnant?
  10. i use nylon nets and hemp ones i find that the nylon ones tangle more than the hemp ones do but the hemp ones rot where nylon one's dont if you look after your hemp nets by drying them out when they get wet dont leave them in the bag then they should last a good number of years.

  12. i use my mates spanial to mark the rabbits in she's a good little marker to saves a lot of messing around netting empty holes sometimes take the lurcher but not often.
  13. thats what iv been doing pal he seems to be getting a bit better but he still trys to bit every now and again.
  14. iv tried flicking him on the nose but he still seems to do it ill just keep handling him and hope he comes right its something that ill have to put up with if he turns out to be a good worker thanks for all the tips lads.

  17. its drew blood twice but rest of time its been hard nips its definatly not playing pal.
  18. it takes me about an hour to make a purse net i make them 19 long and 16 wide i find it easy to make them and now i known how i will never buy another net.
  19. he was nipping me before i started giving him food from the hand he does seem to be getting a little better though but i like my ferrets not to bite at all
  20. im just wondering if anyone can give me any advice i have just recently got a couple of ferrets and one of them keeps nipping me, most of the time hes fine to handle and then out of the blue he'll nip me iv been handling him every day for hours at a time and iv got him feeding out of my hand is there anything else i can do to stop him nipping me?
