    No they don't have a bloody syncro on reverse next you'll be telling us its the overhead cam sprocket that's detached from the kronkle bolt I've been a mechanic for thirty years rebuilt more gearboxes than I can remember think I might know what I'm talking about And yes I did start on the spanners when I was 11

    If the clutch isn't clearing it will crunch in reverse because it hasnt got syncro meshes on that gear because you only select it stationary try rolling backwards in your car then select reverse it either wont go in or will crunch reason it crunches going down the box is the syncros are not slowing the first motion shaft down quick enough to align the gears hence the crunch as they mesh together

    If it was clutch or hydraulics at fault box would crunch selecting reverse as this doesn't have syncros hence the question def is syncros likes been said first and second hubs damaged

    Out watching the hunt with me old man I was prob only 10. We're stood on a gate watching the dogs searching for the fox they'd lost. My old man looked down and the fox was under the gate watching the dogs as well then just looked up at us crawl back and walked up the road

    The grinding changing down is most likely due to worn syncros in the box quite possible you've damaged them driving without the clutch Just to check its not a clutch fault does the car select reverse ok without any grinding

    Only problem when the rifles away from yourself you never know what's happened to it could of been dropped on barrel end but I would check the power if it's high then a light pellet will go all over the place

    Might be worth removing the barrel to have a look through in case the rifling has been damaged or debris from dipping inside

    Have you run it over a crono to check the power if it's just been serviced. Do air arms suffer crown probs buster thought that normally prob if shortening or threading for silencer

    Gutted I couldn't make it shoulder is getting better though can now hold the rifle up for a few seconds before the pains too much. Note to self don't do a trackday and fall off a week before next meet Atb Kev

    He's looking a little under weight I'd say. Think an extra 14.3 grains should be enough to have him the perfect weight
