    I might have a detwanger I'll have a dig around but to be honest if your 20 30 meters away from the rifle when it fires you can't really hear it just sounds really load next to your ear

    Fantastic write up there bud was like being there with you and a nice tidy mixed bag. Keep a really close eye on the wounds the terrier I found with a broken leg we think got bitten by a badger. The infection was that quick under the cast it killed the leg and had to be removed. So like you said if its not healing straight to vets Atb Kev

    What calibre is it My .22 used to like accupels but for some reason the last tin wouldn't group at all well swapped to air arms field back too pellet on pellet but I've now retired it from active duties due to the BSA r10 taking over the long gun duties. What do you need to know about the falcon had mine for about 12yrs so kind of know them inside out

    Can't beat a bit of ratting nice shooting Davy I miss my ratting days but I'll keep trying to get some rat permission squirrel time is nearly here for me not quite as fast and furious as the rats.     One thing when you ring the garage don't go at them all guns blazing or they'll be straight on the defensive probably best to just say the cars broke down can they have a look at it don't mention you think the cam belts failed let them tell you theyll need to come up with a damn good excuse as to why.     Do you know if they replaced the tensioner and pulleys along with the belt mind at £400 they should have done if so then there's is a warranty claim on the parts so the garage should repair it free off charge to you then claim back from parts Out of interest what vehicle is it Hope this helps Kev

    Keep baiting an area up with squirrels or rabbits split open with guts on show for a week or two so they corvids get used to feeding without disturbance then try again in the hide you need to stay perfectly still inside it slightest movement and they'll spot you this method worked for me Atb Kev

    Think the woman that was supposed to of witnessed the dumping of the dogs was probably attention seeking and didn't realise how far it would escalate. The other thing is the road they were chucked out the van is very very busy so why drop them there with several vehicles behind. Nothing adds up over the whole incident

    Last week they had been reunited with there owner aparently even though no one has reported the dogs lost or stolen one of the dogs had three legs no more details were given about who or where they were found due to legal issues Personally I think it was a hoax

    With a clean headshot most wil drop some do jump on impact then twitch but that's just the nervous system but if your getting runners that squeal your not getting clean kills but if they run into a nest bleeding the other rats will finish them off pretty quickly as the previous post stated they go mad for fresh blood. Time to practice your shooting to get your groupings to the size of a five pence piece then you'll guarantee clean kills where they just drop don't worry about the nerve twitches had a big brown rat by a metal sheet that's tail continued boinging for twenty mins after a head sh

    I just puncture a load of holes in a tin of cat food then nail it to a big plank of wood sit back and wait watch your back though the little feckers like to investigate the strange thing making noises

    I'll second that if anyone's looking for a BSA r10 in .177 flavour you won't buy a better rifle. I've got a .22 r10 from Fenceboy and I've got to say its one of the most consistent sweet handling rifle I've owned and that's a lot of rifles. Buy with confidence guys you won't find a better one.     The gunpower stealth is an American rifle designed and built as basically a fac powered rifle that's why it can handle higher power it was never designed to be solely sub 12ftlb

    Putting it another way if you had a car that would only do mph that it was designed to do them you stuck a v8 in it without changing brakes suspension etc it would be fast but not handle or stop other way round if you took a supercar thats designed to do 200 mph then stuck a 1.0 lt engine in it it might not be fast but would still handle and stop perfectly well
