might be constipation off the dry food or even worms? ....id try a worming syrup for pups so not too severe on her tummy as the tablets can be..... then plenty of fishy smelly stuff like tuna, sardines mackrel etc...cheap as chips from any supermaket freezer section or better still fresh from the fish counter- maybe 2-3 times a day and check her stools.......hopefully shes not got something serious ??....... .

airedale, certainly seems a smart dog......good cross that there lurcher, wonder if any lads on here have got one of a similar makeup?...irish terrier x bull grey and wheaton x grey crosses are obviously a similar type cross to the airedale.....i'd have one but theyre like rockin horse sh** over here in england......
-
nice dogs mate....as for a more functional dog siuted to rabbits maybe try a 2nd generation bull cross, small parents ie small heighted pups...21-24 inch is a handy size on the rabbits and game to take on bigger quarry....1st cross is a big sturdy dog and by the sounds too big for what your after ferrifleboy?........other bred dogs into the mix like a collie bull grey or collie x whipp bull should make for a small but cracking working lurcher.....google them and see what images come up mate...all the best...JP/////....)

smart looking saluki crosses there pal.......my two stay in the kitchen/dining room too mate for the exact same reason.....i put too much time and effort into my dogs to let some tw** come and lift them out of the kennel....just a note....my sal bull grey looked very similar at that age then shot up and went all leggy and lean at bang on 6 months old-couldnt seem to keep the weight on...started giving her fresh and frozen tripe and raw beef and bones and she sharp but the weight back on......keep up the good work and good luck with them, their snorters mate...

LABRADOR GREYHOUND ANYONE HAVE THIS CROSS
SalukiBULLJP replied to 2.8 guy's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
i wont mention who the lad is cos i know he used to be on here a few year back but thinks the site is full of peddlers and anti hunting numpties checking out yer photos so i'l leave it there..i wil say that his dogs are fantastic working lurchers and both have kept him and his family fed for years and also made him a lot of money off local farmers and a very big landowner on the shoots as he uses the dogs to flush, retreive and clear the foxes with permission...lads a proper dogman and i always up to something with them.... -
LABRADOR GREYHOUND ANYONE HAVE THIS CROSS
SalukiBULLJP replied to 2.8 guy's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
i agree...if its not a 2nd lab cross id recommend the lab needs to be a slight leggy one not a large round chubby one like most use as workers these days....great bushing dogs like the cockers etc but to breed it to a greyhound/whippet bitch id definately try a nice leggy lab to keep the pups speedy and keep the stamina up.....also i reckon the dam would have an easier time in delivery of the pups with them being leaner built.....a really handy dog as ive seen two dogs off the same litter...my mate works them on" all leagal quarry" especially rabbits and feather all retrieved to hand alive as -
never been lad but reckon it'l be an amazing night out...google bellview greyhound track then look on the map for hotels nearby....simples....enjoy yer bets mate.
-
hope it is too....good luck matey,,,,id be well peed off if mine got pinched.....all the best and keep us posted pal...

6 lurchers dumped, could they be stolen?
SalukiBULLJP replied to Carraghs Gem's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Shame theyre only gonner be pets but at least theyl be loked after.......scum must have been up to no good to leave the dogs in the motor......they look like litter brothers and sisters to me.....very similar looking to each other-probably a litter he kept back to interbreed off??.....Ah well, the loser has lost a nice bunch of dogs now good luck to them all...they all deserve a nice new home i suppose..... -
letting the dog have there catch or not
SalukiBULLJP replied to billy0200's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
like rocky1 said its wrecks the dogs stomach when out hunting......not a good idea as a healthy greedy dog would gulp it down and suffer later......best bet is either gutt, skin and feed it the dog at home fresh or freeze it thoroughly to kill any worms-a regularly wormed dog can handle it raw but its still a risk....prepping the carcass at home also makes sure you can check the health of it before giving to the hound......all the best....Jp happy hunting -

Its not illegal to use poison on foxes BUT there are no poisons legally APPROVED for use on fox so it IS illegal to poison foxes. If you can prove he is deliberately poisoning foxes you could f**k him right up and if he is shooting dogs the mothers c**t deserves everything he gets. the bloke sounds like he needs draggin round the back of his landrover and shooed......twisted git
-
................whats the name of the poison the c$nt is using.....and by the sounds of it he could do with some in his tea !!!!!!! i thought this was illeagal now,and if its true they could be sent down, you cannot bait a carcass with poison and leave it in the open anymore,as it not only kills the intended prey your after, but other animals and birds too,and your dog if it gets to it.......my dogs from pup have allways been scolded if they whent to drink from puddles, they wont even look at them now. mine too...both got scolded for drinkin puddles in the garden they were when pups and
