  1. yeah google it in the toolbar above...can get all different sizes and shapes for all types of dogs so make sure yer measure up your dog mate and its for a lurcher or whatever your dog happens to be?......theres an agility dog forum that has a link to a website dealing with stuff like this too.....training aids, cone collars, leads,.jackets etc...hope this helps?.....jp .

  4. ive also a non pedigree whipp turns out she's a bit grey x beddy on her dads side....came out smooth with very patchy, thinning hair, she lost 2/3rds of her puppy hair due to bad treatment but i shap got her sorted and built up.. and now she looks like a tall blue laguna type...
  5. spot on mate.........hes after a chunky dog i seen this and just text him at work... hes deffo's after another black dog as his other two are both bitches..both very small ratters ie. medium built patter x small jack and the other is a small legged jack x lakey....old but still graft on ...that patt x lakey is a [bANNED TEXT] snorter mate.really like the head and build on it...got some fun on the cards with it next few months.. ..nice temperament is it gaz?
  6. areet rocky lad.....mint dog on photos in that thread... a good mate over my way just lost his 1st big black lakey patterdale about a month or so ago....he gave it to a lad to dig to summat on permissable land over hetton way-went to ground and stayed down and kept xxxx at bay so stood back and waited til he got ready to dig....some time passed by and it had obviosly got stuck into summat large down below and the lad couldnt get to the dog....tried all ways but the dog was in very deep, over 3metres so came back a couple of hrs later with more help and eventually got to the pup...it was out s

  8. well in matey....dogs on form...good conditioned too,,,keep at em little buggers
  9. i run 2 totally different bitches one with 1/4 bull blood other without bull in her breeding.....theyre two totally different dogs...every dog is different and alls id say is add a bit of what you want but if your happy with what you already have then keep it similar breeding.....ie similar way bred sire to your bitch...pups should be a close match to what you already have in your bitch........... i have a similar dilema with my oldest bitch.(Blue smooth whipp x bed grey).the chance to have a stud k.c registered bedlington put over my whippet type......either go that beddy terrier way or g
  10. great pics......look in very tidy condition too,,,are the two merle types related by any chance?...
  11. go with all the posts above mate.....id also try changin both theyre foods.....something plain for a a few days, low protein too as "sowhat" mentioned low excercise when on a high protein feed is known to make them itch.....both my dogs did this when i changed my job ans their walkin daily routine changed....too rich protein in a body builders diet causes skin rashes and excess spots so same should apply to the dogs skin...all the best
  12. a mate...known him and the dog for years.....hes only after a pup to add a different mix into his pack...hes keen as hell on both my bitches so win win.... i toyed with the beddy sire breeding but be too small for what i want to do with em....hows yer dogs doing mate?.....been out much lately?...
  13. small pic at the top is my bitch...very good on rabbits and feather......cant get a pic of the sire but hes a great looking dog...id definately be needing 7-8 lads wanting a pup first before i settled on the breeding....any questions on the subject drop me a message...cheers lads..
  14. After thinkin long and hard about my next pup this is how im breeding next off my current blue whip x grey(she has a bit beddy in her blood too!!!) she stands at 21tts is very fast and a well built whipp lurcher, bigger and more stamina than both my mates laguna whippets and great daytime dog,too fast for the lamp as had a few bangs last season so dont lamp much with her in case she picks up another injury.....sire is a 25"tts Red,Saluki bull grey and a smashing day and night dog, very clever and good temperament to match my bitch............the lad with the sire is after a pup off the litter an
  15. dogs are in good nick mate...bull x is a similar sttamp dog to mine except the bit of saluki in her.good pics as always.. keep em coming and enjoy the snow haha
  16. nice cross that..whipp x hound x bull hound??,unusual but i bet its gonner turn out handy as heck...she'l have some speed when she's fully grown
  17. possibly the new dog being around has put a fair bit of pressure on your other 1st dog and hes not in a happy place so lashing out to show whos boss.....any fighting with muzzles on should sort out the problem but if it goes on then id keep both dogs still but only use em single handed one on one with you to build back your trust and bond.....sounds like a bit jealousy here...the reason i only have bitches in my kennel as theyre calmer and sort their hierachy out better than dogs do,much happier kennel mates i reckon......i found it out years ago owning terriers,(all male)...theyd fight like h
  18. aye nice healthy lookin pups....hard to get a photo unless theres food or sleep onvolved ha ha...nice job mate,,,lovely markings on both...aLL the best JP
  19. nice collars too.........probably cost more than i earn in a week?....ha
  20. similar to my bitch... sorry its a tiny pic mate...im new to this photo game ha ha..
  21. bull crosses are a great lurcher type, maybe not a good idea to buy a big heavy 1st straight bull x as a first introduction to having lurchers but each person and each dog is different...some like the hairy collie (HANCOCK) types...the racy (Ex Track)greyhound types, dhound, bedlington or saluki types or even whippet crosses,,,at the end of the day they're all part of the sighthound family and thats what makes em different, theyre bred to spot and chase down quarry using theyre sight.....each to theyre own as long as your happy with yer hound and your dog is happy with you then you'l have a prospe
  22. looks like a english bull terrier croos with the long snout.....bet you'll have a fun time with that little bugger ha ha.....keep at em...jp
