hi mate i was out bushing a few years ago with my dogs had a puppy with me she was going in and out of the cover when i noticed a fox crawling along the ground trying to sneak up on the pup as soon as it noticed me it ran away but i dare say if a fox is hungry enough it would have a go at anything, hope the pup turns up

got a pup here at 11 weeks it does the same seems to be getting a bit better now tho
