  1. Try fitting a fully pumped gas ram in a gun without a proper vice. You can do it pushing down on tables while some pushes pin in? Lol I can remember trying to fit a gas ram to a Webley stingray years ago. An unless you've got a big strong mother f****r u got no chance. Hence the reason they have valves in the rear to pump up after they've been fitted. Unless you have a vice/clamps.
  2. Mole that's what I'm on about lol my mate is clueless when it comes to guns, an he managed it. Be careful mind, he pumped abit too much an it shot up to 19ft lb
  3. If its anything like the gas ram Hw90 my mate had , its on the back of cylinder
  4. I can't see why they would do it. Fair enough if you had to have a license. But its not, and your obviously serious about shooting, with trophies, photos and books laying about. You rent it, you live there so you can do what you want. I have a utility room out the kitchen rammed with gun stuff. If I want my gun out of the slip, il have it out the slip in my own house. Unless I threaten someone with it or shoot out of my boundaries there's not alot they can do about. You have rights, simple as. I thought they would be more concerned about drilling the walls/floors for a cabinet. f**k um ton, whe
  5. It got a lot to do with timing and knowing your permission. As one of mine are out in force at night and the other I see more during daytime/afternoon than we do night time lol sounds stupid but its true
  6. Nitromorse or I used ccl remover to get old finish off
  7. Tony where u from? I'm from Pontypridd. It's just your name lol
  8. I bought one from optics warehouse. It was 51quid p&p and mine ain't failed yet. Seems well built etc. I too was looking at the Harris bipods but cringed at the price. Atb
  9. I don't know. I had to register to the new one but it was all over the shop. Iv sold my huntsman, I bought an mfr lol I would like to have both but funds don't allow.
  10. Acuspell I didn want to take your lime light lol but I know what its like to ask a question an wait for an answer. Andafter I asked you the same on d.o.c I thought I'd give him the answers u gave me lol
  11. Is that the std length shroud or carbine? If its the std one there's a fella who sells baffles , if u got room, for the daystate shroud and combined with the mk5 reflex is suppose to be as quiet as the huggett shroud n silencer combo , just a thought and it will shave about 4" off the total length. Nice gun though
  12. Jamie that's the one I was thinking of the challenger. I was going to buy it. But with no review etc or anyone with one it could of been a total waste of my time
  13. That's it ,you got it lol lothar walther do .20 cal mate. So if you bought new from daystate I'm sure they would sort you out. But there's the wait. Plus if you don't like .20 cal an sell it, you will loose money. This is why he said try a s/h rapid in .20 , ugly or not lol then if u like like the cal, but don't like the rapid, sell the rapid what u paid for it, then buy the huntsman, that way its a win/win situation. Atb
  14. He probably farting his buddy bottle to fill it up, the poor f****r gets bombarded with cops lol
  15. Acuspells huntsman is more limited edition than the limited edition ones they brought out of the huntsman lol Ben Taylor sold 20 .20 barrels to daystate, an slapped them on the huntsmans. You can request a .20 barrel on it, it might be shrouded not a 16mm like his. An it will be a lothar walther barrel. I think his is a anshnutz or whatever barrel lol the reason he said to try a rapid in .20 cal is because u can sell them three times faster than u would of the huntsman, just to try the caliber out, and without loosing cash like u would with a requested ds huntsman. Hope all goes well
  16. My mate picked up a mint con, unused he said, ns50 secondhand for 260 yesterday mate. The other option is the other add ons , can't think what its called. Slightly cheaper than the ns50. But like its been said, with nv you pay for what you get. The ns50 is a lot of kit for the money. Went out lastnight with full moon, no clouds and the rabbits didn't have a care in the world. Easy see upto 100 yrds with it
  17. What you saying dogman? I know drew off a facebook page where he posted up pics of his battered mk4
  18. I had one. Recently sold it,just fancied a change. But it was a superb gun, in .177 couldn't fault it. I found it abit too light to take standing shots, an as standing shots are quite important out hunting as you never really get the chance to get where u want to be. It was.one of the things I got rid for. Secondly I just wanted a change , and the most important thing was that I wanted to self service my gun, so iv got an mfr now. Both as accurate as one another, mfr slightly does it for ME ,might be diffrent for you. But overall I'd recommend this gun to anyone wanting a stunning built middle
  19. Donny, what trigger is that? Isit the mk3?
  20. F.a.c spring will be quite a bit tougher than a 12ft lb too. So patience an perseverance is key, otherwise you can kiss sweet good bye to the decent ranges people have said they've shot out to. Good luck.
  21. Who would hear todays airguns from outside of a house anyway. The news is always full of utter.bollocks. it was probably an argument going on, front door being slammed in 'tude an all of a sudden there's a f*****g mad man on the loose lol
