  1. An another reason, is I can shoot better standing with a slightly heavier gun. The post wouldn't allow me to edit.
  2. Nothing Davy, I just fancied a change. With the rapids there's so many people who work on them if something was to go wrong. I can service it myself too. So unfortunately its up for sale atm. If I could I'd keep it mate, its spot on, I must be a fool lol
  3. I might just have to buy myself a new one in .20 then lol unless a nice cheap one stumbles accross haha.
  4. Are there any pellets about 11grain mark that are good in most .20?
  5. You've answered your own question in the title "go around" a lot lol good luck
  6. Loads through the year. And now they seem to be whittled down again. Might just be catching them at the wrong time. Although near a industrial state there were atleast 6-7 on one bit of grass, little things but now their no where to be seen
  7. Yes it will fit I think. Daz the big boy cal .25 as u say is lethal lol saw a vid of a rapid .25 40ft lb and he took heart n lung shot on a squirrel, it tore his insides out the exit hole lol
  8. So basically find a heavier .177 or a light .22. If you were to find a light .22 pellet what would the flight be like ? Much more pronounced than a heavy 177?
  9. Thinking of a rifle change , what's people's opinions on this cal? Is it not much difference between the 177 n 22 or is it not much bother because of the range or very little range in .20?
  10. I'm thinking of a swap mind to .20 is it much.difference? Is it worth it? I'm unsure
  11. Iv used .177 for years now, an truth be told iv never over penetrated anything. Yes it goes right through, as do most 22s at 30 yrds, but its still dead at the end of the day. Cheaper pellets, flatter shooting so easier to get the perfect shot placement and it adapts to night time shooting a lot better, IMO.
  12. Lew I think all rapids accept same mag. Cocpops, try the for sale an wanted part of this forum mate
  13. I been shooting my mates std mk2 and even though the action is smooth, its clunky , an when shot quite noisy, suppose that's because you can't hear the muzzle. He's recently got the pegg silencer its about 9" an the quietestiv heard so far, intact I don't think u could get any quieter. But il stand to be corrected as I ain't heard a nutshot (before anyone kicks off lol) I tried the peg on my huntsman twice, once it sounded loud, the second time itwas silent so I don't know what was going on. Their a lot cheaper New than daystates, that's another plus. And there's only one bloke who will touch
  14. What are they like std? And what difference does all the bits you can have done to them make? How much does it all cost for all the insides to be tuned etc?
  15. Type into eBay Cree gun torches, there's loads on it
  16. I like shooting on 6 mag lol I only ever shot on 3 mag before I started going to a club to shoot. I hate big mag scopes. I might even look into getting a fixed 6x mag..any suggestions pianoman?
  17. My panorama scope is fine for abit of everything, clear optic ,couldn't recommend it enough. An mine is 110-130 to buy its a 3-9*40 ao map6a ret. Best scope iv used so far an iv had about 4-5 including niko striling, an hawkers with bigger front lense an the 40mm is enough for me an my shooting
  18. Darryl what's happening with the mounts for these connects? The last I heard they were out of stock. And about 40? I think, cheers.
  19. John baz you sure you don't want this mod50 I have here lol I was talking to you on another forum before, airgun forum I think..lol
  20. Ahh I just watched it. Skipped through it though, as Giles voice started to annoy me. Looking up reviews on the huntsman before I got it, and he was reviewing it on YouTube lol
  21. I use one, at first the fine ret played with my eyes but after some patience I love it
