    Well, where do I begin? I dropped the lad and missus of at home at 1830hrs and set off for my nearest permission which is about 10mins drive, hoping to see adult rabbits and kitts running about the fields like I had seen on Saturday when I took my lad up there for the lambing. As I pull in to the yard, the land owner is carrying the hind legs of a lamb and the carcass of a chicken in to the kennel area. Curiosity gets the better of me and I ask what has happened. It turns out that Mrs Fox has been brave and has managed to take off with a lamb in the morning, presumably to feed her cubs

    I wish, that when people would threaten to do things, they would just do it. If you're 'both' having your accounts closed, don't post, end of. THL can then go back to being a hunting forum instead of 'The Mole Show'. This thread was amusing at the start but since I've learned of the multiple defamation of character of long standing forum members, I now cannot see the funny side of things. Especially as those members are ones with a massive amount of knowledge that they CHOOSE to share with us to make us better air gun users. Anyone seen 'Fight Club'?...

    Someone I know pulled a sickie for being hungover and then posted his joy on facebook, 'Hungover and pulled a sickie, my boss is such a twat! Sofa day for me!'. He then got a comment on there saying, 'I think you forgot you added me to your friends list last week. Don't worry about coming in Monday, or again. Ever'. Epic fail!

    I can't agree with Pianoman enough. I've spent 4 days in the past 2 weeks waiting outside a courtroom to give evidence in a case that the VICTIM doesn't even want to go ahead with, so much so he hasnt shown up the Crown Court on four separate occassions to give his diary of events. However, because he suffered severe injuries, TVP have made this a criminal matter and want the defendant trialed. If he doesn't show tomorrow and can't be found the whole case is dropped at a cost o thousands plus officers time off the streets. Some people get dealt with in different ways, horses for course

    Hi Cobra. When I've had issues with pellets, I try and keep them with the tin they came in. As I normally use the same pellet, each time I have duff ammo I add it to the tin. As soon as I have made up the right quantity (200-500), I take the waste to the gunsmiths who will more often than not, exchange for a new tin. I buy 500 pellets to use 500, not end up throwing 50 or so away!
