The site is still up and running, my two bits woh is he even got funny with me when i wnt to order a shovel off the site, and in minutes the shovl had went up a fiver just before my transaction had went through. Theres other things like someone posted in the wrong section of his site, he was very nasty, wouldnt mind, but the layout is all over the place, Pratt comes to mind with him.

  7. I use a few different mora knives, the clipper and a frost(I think.) Cheap and very decent.

  11. Why do you ned a smaller spade for ferreting than digging? Its all underground, so practically you should have the one that will do the job, wont break and make digging that bit easier. Bulldog, spear and jackson or draper round mouths, or a good newcastle draing spade/spit.

  13. PM Flying Fox on here mate for the pegs. Go to a hardware shop and ask for a metre or so of chain, most will have different size links, and will cut what you want/need, Next I used to get a small u clip, the type that has a straight screw bit with. a couple of them Rock climbing clips and ya flying.
  14. No one wear Fell Boots anymore? The leather on mine is very, very thick/tough, but smooth as you like on the inside though. I was told that they were very heavy, but I like them A LOT Mine arent the Hoggs ones, but the tailor made Lennons..

  17. True mate, true. What way were they bred, the ones that threw the white bits? The ones youve had with the white bits, did you breed them yourself? I will dig a few pics of mine out as well.
  18. I love that black dog with the white socks mate, I had one nearly the same but was proper tough smooth coated. Unfortunately she didnt travel or dig for me.

  20. no mate, mine died at 15, my brother hasnt dug to his own dogs for years, I will ring and ask him though. im suprised there hasnt been more replies mate. pm me now.
