    I shouldnt of asked what calibre as I already know its a .22, now from the helpful members of this site I know its a MK3. And Barrywhite, I dont know much about airifles, thats why Im asking, afterall this is a place to learn and to find out about things isnt it. Seems you know it all from your Cocky comments.     Spindeloro, I knew what you meant mate, and you knew what I meant LOL. Just cant see why whites would be either culled or automatically viewed as no good, ie all the black/coloured pups been taken before the white ones, surely if they are bred right from known workers, then colour means f**k all, or is it because people either have kennel blindness or dont want to be known to have a Russell in their kennels. Same parents, and ancestory of workers, if they(parents, g parents etc)are up to a standard youre expecting and you know the person who breeds the litter then surely you can trust their

    Spindolero, why post the word "really"? Im sure you know, infact im 19 million percent that you know in these cases where white pups out of black/coloured parents means jack shit if the Pups throw white, they have the same 100%age chance of making the grade.

    How could the whites be no use, jus chancey, nowt to do with the colour, they all have the same working history and make up. colour is only cosmetic.

    Giro, what would you say are the best gaitors? Ive got the old army gaitors, with the twisted wire(snare type) and they are decent, paid a fiver for them. Just cut the under straps off.

    Why get rid cause too hard mate, i understand some reasons, but surely thats part and parcel of terriers. 20 months and 100% guareented, I think you will get a few critisms on that. get a few pics up pal, or keep for yourself. But 350 quid for a 20 month 100% dog is too much to me. better getting a younger dog to enter, or a pup and start from scratch. atb with finding a new home.

    lowa combat or mountain mate, altberg are similar, but ive nver used them so cannit comment on them. you will get loads of lads agreeing lowa are top dogs, cause they are.

    My brother had a Very wirey wool Black and Tan 35 or so years ago. I had a half melbreak half Russell pup around 1978/80. Mine had an uncle called Rats from round County Duham area. Rats was a smooth B and T, with a tiny bit of white on his chest. There was also a dog called Mel who my bother owned who was a Worker, Very hard dog, but brainy with good nose as well. My brother says Mel was the best terrier he ever had and seen, and he isnt a Big head either. If the dog dont work then its Peepies time, no room at his inn.     Anti hitamine will help calm the itch down. But really need pads toughned up. Get some Alum that barbers use. Soften the block a bit them gently rub in. This will help toughen the pads up without drying them out, which could cause splitting then they would turn into keens and that would be really bad. Give this a try mate. Alum only costs few quid. I might have a bit you can have. Send me your address and I will have a look.
