  1. Your pups looking swell mate, all the best with her.
  2. He's got a big black greyhound, price cut, nobby's lad, a pure Kelpie and a Kelpie X welsh collie, according to EDRD ads. And its Sleight and it's stud.
  3. Iv had this recently, i reported him for threatening behaviour, i did'nt want to involve the police but he had reported me for poaching (i was'nt) so i didnt have much choice. But if he took a picture first then shot your dog thats not legal. The only way he can do it legally is if your dog is worrying his stock right there right then and he shoots it to protect his stock. As far as i know deer are not classed as a domesticated species so would'nt come under the normal classification of farm stock, like gamebirds they remain wild. Basically keep your dog on a lead and tell him to lick you
  4. Hats off to the dog, it's not my cup of tea but different strokes for different folks.
  5. My brothers dog is bred this way, With bull, saluki and greyound, I don't know how much of each as she is line bred. She has caught daytime hares. She is no coursing dog but she does catch them. She is not my sort of dog but an impressive beast non the less. 25" maybe 26" and thick set.
  6. I believe it was the Terriers hitting into him? the guy was worried it would kill his terriers if left. He's now staying in a foster home with other dogs and apparently is fine. Yeah it does, have you checked his ears mate? Doesn't look like it. What would a Tattoo mean? that it's a pure Grey? Yeah if its one ear its uk bred both ears Ireland bred, not always that easy to read and they fade with time, but now there is a bigger picture, it looks clear. All the best with him if you go down that route, one things for defo, if you don't try you wont know. my mate runs a ma

Is ficam W approved for use on poutry sheds to control red mite?
  14. Well . . . . . yes . I'll second that.
  15. The mark 2 did't work at all. deben are now on the mk3. Iv just bought one because you cant get bits for the mk1 right easy. Some people love them some people hate them. Im undecided yet. As you can hear it sounds like a mobile disco and has more lights than one.
  16. Swap connectors,Deben do all sorts of adaptors mate. Deben
  17. The lad himself is not asking too much by wanting a decent dog but... I think he is asking too much of one dog to be any good at three very different disciplines. Sure you can get good lamping and ferreting dogs and good lamping and daytime dogs but a good lamping, ferreting and daytime dog??? one step too far old bean. Im sure they exist but i think what you'll end up with is either a dog that ferrets well but gets laughed at by hares or a dog that bowls them over but gets bored and wonders off when its supposed to be watching nets. Its just my opinion I wasnt tryin to imply that a

  19. What is she crossed with dare i ask?
  20. You probably are asking a bit much mate really. Especially considering you want a smallish dog. What about the classic allrounder the collie cross? or perhaps 3/4 grey bred collie cross?
  21. This plus this equals this thats better innit?
  22. Iv been out with the scarview, nice pics
  23. Before reading this thread and looking them up,as i've never seen a italian grey in the flesh I did'nt realise they were a toy breed! I don't understand toy breeds full stop but to have one that looks should be able to do something beggars belief. (I understand old ladies want K9 company) It genuinly angers me that people breed dogs that are not sound for generation after generation but the most irritating thing is they could all be put right with out crosses and careful breeding. But then again why bother if all they do is sit in some old ladys house all day. This thread has it a nerve wi
  24. Why? whippets don't, greyhounds don't (always ) Its all relative mate, Little light dogs only needs little light frames I accept they would only be able to do rabbits. But if there was a decent working strain going id try one Imagine how a tiny dog of that size would be able to turn. Lots of lads on here sport massive bull crosses when all we can legally hunt is rabbits and rats. Sledge hammer and brass tacks spring to mind. Im not knocking anyone its just my opinion. if we qoute from the breed standard then ,they should by rights look like a miniature greyhound , therefore
