    I've lost 3 over the years in the field mate, not a good feeling It's the nature of the game mate, I reckon more people will have lost a running dog in action than will not have, sad as that sounds. What breed of pup do you want mate? Let us know, I'm sure one of the guys on here who has breed that type of pup would give you one as a gesture, good bunch of lads on here.

Now, I can understand years ago before this technology existed but please, there should be ghost videos by the thousands!!! Imagine how many ghosts there would be in the world and no c**t has any real proof!!! If half the crap on here was recorded, you'd be instant millionaires.     i would say its 3rd season when it was legal to run hares,and you were at them 3 days a week.other quarry i would agree 4th and even 5th. I'd agree with that benny. You should certainly know if it's got it or not on hares when it's 3.

    I think a dog in it's 4th season knows what's what. So I'd plump for that. I don't think I'd say it's peaked though, cos that suggests it is about to go down hill but it certainly should be doing it's best then.

    The worst scars my dogs have had have came from chasing rabbits, nothing hard in that. Dog nearly ripped it's jaw off chasing a rabbit through a sheep fence. Must admit, I don't think I know a dog that gets worked regular that doesn't have scars so I suppose there is something in it.
