I know when I got the ruler when I was at school my parents would have said I must have deserved it and gave me a harder slap so telling them was a no no. If it happened to my kids I'd be wanting to know why the teacher felt the need to do it. I bet the other kids found it funny, blown out of proportion if you ask me.

No, lets keep your ethics here. So you think the better the rifle the better the marksman? I've got a relatively good air rifle mate, not a bad shot but like any shooter who has to deal with weather conditions etc, I'm not 100% accurate, unlike you it seems. Your terminology regarding hunting with dogs is similar to that of someone who's only knowledge is media based. Who am I to try and educate the media educated, they generally are beyond reasoning.
