That's different though. If they are a threat to golden eagles they need controlled. As for the pheasant, the dumbest bird in existence, even the dodo wonders how its still going strong, they shouldn't be killed cos these stupid birds have no natural fear of anything. Any bird who thinks its safe to stand in the middle of the road next to 3 squashed relatives deserves everything it gets.

It's upto him to make sure his place is vermin protected with fencing etc. anyone who lets his "livelihood" roam free in the wild needs to expect the wildlife to see his "livelihood" as free game. I don't agree with killing BOP for the sake of a few poxy pheasants that some lard arsed shotters going to maim anyway. Any keeper caught killing them should be jailed IMO.
