  1. Had an awkward dig myself last Monday a load of top soil and ash dumped on builders rubble had a brace out but took some time border dog took a bit so won't be out till after xmas now well done with all that scrap strange you neve got a bolt
  2. Nice terrier ignore the bitchy comments a lot of jealous a holes on this site a lot of decent knowledgable lads don't post because of it.
  3. Plenty of good borders out there and they are mostly as keen to enter as any other breed of terrier I've had quite a few and most needed holding back not encouragement.

  10. more bullshit written about oakes borders than any other border how long ago was it before he died that he actualy worked a terrier to ground i think a lot of rubbish written to help shift pups that werent going to make it in the show ring, ive seen oakes bred borders work and ive seen a lot beeter borders from othe kennels ,good luck with digging to whatever terrier you dig to.
  11. dont hunt in summer dont kill cubs ,hunt hard in winter when the quarry can bite back hard only way to see what you and your dogs are made of ,dont release quarry thats the control bit done then you shouldnt have to worry about cubs in the summer,to many cub killers dog men or riflemen shit scared og getting wet or cold to many so called dog men scared there dogs might get hurt or jack or both
  12. Been quiet last few weeks call outs dried up now thankfully , don't enjoy cubbing never have, most memorable day of last season was 5 out of an earth with the border dog all adult big stuff lovely.
  13. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and if it is genuinely offered generaly is worth at least a moments thought, but these opinions are only given out of jealousy or a fear of loosing profit there is a place for all genuine well bred working lurchers in the field each to his own .

  16. If the dogs are out lot how good does a kennel have to be a content dog will spend all day curled up in its bed

For me hunting and how I o about it has always been a matter of concionce not a matter of law,if you work your dogs hard during the season and control heavily then summer work is never necessary,to relese foxes after a dig is down to you but don't moan when cubs consequently have to be dealt with,sport and control can and should go hand in hand.

  19. had a problem with reciever box sent it to b&f week later new box arrived at door this is where b&f stand out from any competitor there stuff rarely has problems but when it does there customer care is excelent .
