For f**k sake, he werent on the lead, it was an accident and bored.. Making stuff up, you must know some low lifes, no joy in lying, someone who lied about a dog accidentally chasing a fox must be some little keyboard hunting f**k up, and some of you just sont get it he cane back when shouted end of.

Bud9, i wasnt out hunting, it was just a walk and took lamp for no reason tbh. Ive just came into lurcher game. But have loads of friends who are experienced.

Bud9 like i said, i wasn't out hunting, you werent there so keep ya snardy comments to yaself, f*****g hate it when people try to change ya story, and ive trained pup to a high standard and he does what hes told. Thanks to the lads who actualy have something decent to say.

Hi lads. Just had pup out on a few local fields covered about 2 mile, ive never slipped him yet as i think he's to young but after walking over 2 fields i just let pup off for a run about, i wasnt out hunting just getting him used to night time and lamp, i was flicking it on and off every 2-3 minutes just to see if he was following the beam, then just as i pushed through some bushland i flicked lamp on and there was a mr charlie, i had pup off lead and couldnt help him taking off after it, he coursed it for about 5-8 seconds before i recalled him in as i know its illegal to hunt fox with dogs,

My cluson has a strap but still moves from your side to your crotch, if i use blitz i use one of the missus's old bags with a big in pocket, works a treat and really shows off my figure

4-6 mile when local, 10-12 when conditions are perfect. Nothing better than the midnight air.

Only a pup yet mate, train her more over the closed season, il be lucky if my pup gets out next season, patience and maturity will see her right.

I've got the similar problem mate, i took a gamble buying the pup i bought with him being a bull whippet X JRT he's 7 1/2 month now, and i'm just taking him out with other running dogs and letting him watch, when he see's a bunny he's not that intersted yet, but that's just the pup in him, let him be a pup mate, you wouldnt ask a 3-4 year old child to go to work, it's just the same, give it time mate, let me know your progress as i'm in the same prediciment as you. cheers -
Had the same problem mate, Radio trick works a treat, but you've gotta think about like above posts, he hasn't got a routine yet, he doesn't know your coming home, give him time, or maybe if the missus will let ya, get yaself another dog to keep him company, took me a while but i bribed her into letting me have another if i went to watch sex and the city at the pics women are easily pleased. I have a bull whippet x jrt and you can hardly tell he has any bull in him what so ever, he's real racey obviously coming from the whippet side of stuff and has no characteristics of a jacky, dog's work in mysterious ways. -
Both my terrier and lurcher are done mate.. better to be safe that sorry,

Im in the proccess of making one from a 1 million candle power thing, they have a great head, just take the back off wire a switch and attach a 12v batt. Great little project.
