i am a fettle fanitic if yous have not gathered and have 2 out of her a dog and a bitch the dog is 4 now he is good animal and never let me down eva and the bitch is 14 months same as flynns and she is showing a lot of promise but i ve heard a few never done any thing but you ll get that with any litter 99 % of the time they all will not be able to do the job just cos she was a champ dosent mean that every dog she produces will be a champ and as long as they are doing it for you that s the main thing mate you right mate. Coco had one called bandit it was off the first mating to smokey its first season it only missed a hand full of hares and he refused good money for him a few times .he said he would get me a pup off a repeat mating to smokey as i did not stop going on about him after i saw him run .bandit was really good animal i saw him run a few times and one off the time s was down then fens and the lad slipped him it must of being a good 300 yard slip he got up on to it and killed it with ease and he went on to kill another 3 with the same ease he seemed to slow the hare down and take over the race then ki

It sadens me to here that she was sold on. when i got her i loaned her to get a bitch for the blood as i ve got a real soft spot for her and i personally believe she is the best coursing bitch to grace the coursing field .my idea is to carry her blood on by line breed the pup with my fettle and smokey dog .i never bred her to make money in fact i ended up well out of pocket if i am going to be honest . it cost well over what it would of cost for me to go and buy a well bred coursing dog with out the hassle of the rearing of the pups etc . when she went back the lad who i got her off said she w

i paid 1 thousand pound for my bitch saluki greyhound her dad is smokey and her mum is fettal top corsing dogs i have had in 6 months pre ban 17 hares with here and ultimated rabbits and fox .i paid 250 pounds for a other bitch she is smaller and i have had 12 hares with her and fox and plenty rabbits .but the morall of the story is the 250 dog could not go up the fenz and get 3out of 3 but the big money dog will and when i breed her if i put a top dog over her i would want 750 a pup you pay for the blood line but only 2 out of 10 pups might make it 2 the top .if you have ever heard of lucky i

i ve just bred some pups to good coursing stuff and she only had 4 but i could have sold at least 10 at 500 pound a pop so i still think their is money in pups with the right breeding

thanks van goff you not just a pretty face Well im a firm beliver in giving the dog a second chance. I personaly belive the dog should be given the chance another day to try again. Some times you can bore a dog to the extent of it jacking by runing when too young or when not in the right condition of fitness. Thats my opinion mite not be anyone elses dont destroy dogs becase they failed give them a chance to prove themselves. thanks for your opinon highlander

you hear a lot of dogmen on about jackin and once a dog jacks it should be put to sleep or rehomed cos once its done it ,it will do it again! what are your lads and lasses opinions on this ?i am a firm believer that when a dog has jacked it has jacked for a reason ie pulled muscle or cut foot or some kind of injury or shock and once the injury/shock has heeled it should be as good as it was (in most cases)
