    Nice Honest Reply Maxi , I personally dont think some realise how hard it is to have kept a coursing dog at the top of the league, when they were running 3 and sometimes 4 matches a week, i must add i am quite sure You do.. but really its a task keeping them sound and takes its toll in the latter years, the Pic thats up of You holding Captain, he was no spring chicken there was he!!     Aye he just cought most of them lol he was a great dog and still likes a run now he was a very exciting dog to watch and would alway give a 110 percent in every thing he ran he is a pleasure to own in a few years time I might put him to my splodge bitch to carry his breeding on as it would be a crying shame to loose his lineage as there is some great dogs and bitches in there and I know max put a lot of thought in to the dogs that he selected to introduce to his blood

    I've got a pure bred saluk bitch who is just coming up to 7 months she's had a few bunnies I had her out today walking about while I was flushing with a few of the lads and took to it like a duck to water. I had heard a lot of mixed storys about pure salukis so I thought I'd try them for myself and to be fair the only thing I can complain about is she's a bit timred but she's getting better every day. So I'd have no worries about a pure bred saluki again going of what I've experienced so far. I know where there's a litter of pure bred salukis all kc registered who are 7 weeks so if you a

    I've got a bitch out of fettle put back to splodge she is a good honest bitch but to be fair has never really been tested she is keen strong and about 26 tts but I work away and have done since I bred the litter so she just potters on with me doing a bit lamping and flushing I have no doubt she would have stepped up to the mark if I wasn't away had had the time to get her proper fit. I don't think there is many dogs out of splodge and even less bitches. I don't know of any other dogs or bitches a part from the ones I bred which there is 2 dogs and 1 bitch

    Well after Bez was put to sleep I decided it was time for a new pup in the kennel, I have alway liked the look of the pure saluki and the grace it runs with and all of the history behind the breed so I decided thats the type of pup for me. Even while Bez was alive it was always in my mind if i couldnt get a pup out him what type would it be and it was always a pure bred Saluki that came to mind. I ve always heard a lot of mixed reports about the breed but theres only one way to find out and when I saw this little beauty below i knew she was the one for me so I pick her up weekend of the 3rd of

    Thanks everyone it means a lot, dogs like that are very hard to come by not just for his ability but he was a fantastic natured animal a pleasure to own, the next pup will have a lot to live up to.

    The vet said that it was Irritable bowel IBS its just the same as what people get but he was crying out every time he had a s**t and hes was have 10 or more a walk and he binned a load of weight and to be fair i should of done it a few months ago but i thought with the old heart cos he was a real good animal who grafted his heart out every silp but it was that bad the other the day even the misus said its not fair so i made the decision to do it. but i had tried everything change of diet 5 or 6 time for 3 weeks a time tablets the tablets took the pain away but made him loose weight and when we

    Well lads and lasses it sadens me to tell you Bez my fettle and smokey dog has been put to sleep hes been bad for a few months but i thought he was on the mend, but he took a turn for the worst and i took the decision to put him to sleep, I am proper gutted but i have every course in my head that hed ran so rest in peace son

    I bred the litter to fettle and splodge there was 2 dogs 2 bitches i kept one and tommo got the other bitch so some body has misled you mate sorry chris m got a dog and a lad h/pool got the other it might be out of one of the dogs ?

    I that would be perfect if it was a short time problem but I work 2 on 3 all the time but my dad always said if therews a will theres a way.     People as most of you are aware i work away and only home for 3 weeks at a time and having a young family the dogs are starting to suffer i ve put a lot of time and effort and money getting the couring blood that i have admired running and on dvd so it is killing me to make this post i have 2 dogs, one dog 5 years BEZ he is out of a fettle and smokey mating and Vanola who is out of a fettle and splodge who is 2 years, Bez is a very good animal on the lamp and during the day vanola is only a pup really very lightly used just really started with her this season so it is killing me to do this

    my mate has pettle now but he isnt running it this season as it has had an injure. have your dogs been used as allrounders or just on fens? the the dogs done a load of running day time and night time i could not of asked for a better dog always give s 100% and and knows how to kill then he can kill quick or stay if he has to and the bitch out of fettle and splodge is shaping up nice very fast and can turn on her self but she ll only be used for day time rabbiting.
