  1. My pup the last 2 times on the lamp ended up with stiff muscles the next day that had to be massaged out. Would the electrolytes help stop this from happening? Should do, but it all depends why the muscles were stiff FTB. If for example the dogs were not fit enough then it wouldn't do any good, if the muscles had been cramping because of dehydration then yes it would definitely help. If you know you are going out for a long hard day/night in advance, soak and i mean swim, your dogs food in water for the feeds prior to work. Then electrolytes before you go out, during if you need to and

I resent that post I don't drag my bull cross anywhere
  4. I will gladly give you pick of a young cockerel reddog, cannot guarantee what any of their crowing will be like though. If you live in a terrace they might annoy the neighbours a bit, if you live near other people i doubt they will. I know some people who keep them overnight in the understair cupboard then let them out at a reasonable time
  5. Thank you very much. Not too bad reddog, can vary from just about silent to piercing Got several cock birds in the garden and they never wake me
  6. I used to do the same John, but it is not the same as electrolytes for dogs, they have less ingredients
  7. Good news Fair sized wound that.
  8. I do not know why, but presume ROBERT MICHEM (Jim) was deleted because of illegal game pics??? If so, i do hope he was given the opportunity to redeem himself before the button was pushed. Jim seems a good bloke but unfortunately cannot understand the hunting act
  9. I was only recently informed that these folk do not actually have a push bike I was going to say like, i used to tuck me trousers (tracky's or even jeans) into me socks when i was riding me BMX, don't want to be getting your trousers caught in the chain. We must be a similar generation Boysie Get a good hiding off Mam for getting chain oil on your trousers I honestly thought that was why they wore them like that nowadays, especially the only one sock tucked in fad.

  11. I've had it years ago Tim, caused by chewing my nails when younger, you push your bottom jaw forward to do it. Ended up locking at times and painfull with it! I got physio as you rightly said and it worked
  12. This is my home bred pride and joy. After starting off as a nearly cull for nastiness, he has turned out to be a fine young man. Lovely to handle and poses like a dream, infact the more you stroke his chest the further he sticks is out. A damn shame about the wattle crease, plus he has a baldy head (Electric hen accident) so i probably wont be able to show him with any success but have great hopes for him breeding wise. Trevor...18wks old today.
  13. Hi Moll - just checked the link. All looks good. Is the 500ml one serving or is this diluted with water? If so, how many servings do you get out of the 500ml bottle??? Thanks Hello BS, yes it is to be diluted, tells you on the bottle how much for what kind of activity (pre/post running, illnesses etc) So servings per bottle are hard for me to predict. Usually 5-10 ml per go. The bottle i have, i have had for a long time, i only use it for long nights out (Before/during/after), not when just mooching around the farm

    HELP

Sorry i have confused you, i meant chickens when i said hens And the chicks are still being fed by the parent birds. I was advised by vet to use 1 gramme tylan powder per 2 litres of water for the chickens, would that be ok for the canaries also?

    HELP

If you ever change your mind Dotty Could be shock but to be honest they seem to be quite bomb proof, there's the cats, dogs, and had sparrow hawks at them before now, the aviary is a good size with a house. It/they do not have the pinched eye common with ornithosis Meroman. Do you think it could have been Mycoplasma, have been treating the hens for suspected Myco!!! If so can you advise what dose tylan for the water would the same as the hens be ok gramme per 2 litres?
  23. Tis no good talking to me on this thread as i am not looking at it!!!
