I noticed by their eyes they looked freaked out,also a few with ribs showing a lot, Shame he has a nice big black dog there says its friendly,but it was born oct/nov time so 5 months old,a lot of time lost on a whelp. I have noticed that lately - quite a few ribby and starie eyed - the older black pup he has on there at the minute is a nice animal but I wouldn't fancy taking it on...could be a pile hassle...no matter how friendly he says it is it's missed out on a whole pile of stuff... -
I've had 4 from Hancock in the last 30 years...the first two, away back in the 1980s were a Taffy 3/4 bred and a Richard Jones half x were picked up around the 7-8 week mark with no problems at all. The 3rd, a 3/4 bred Kubla pup, which I had in December 2010 was 15 weeks when we brought him home was a total and utter nightmare. Never seen anything like it. Long story all told on here before - strange thing was - he had a lot of ability - but his psychological problems were just too much...and that was simply down to a lack of socialisation. My freezer's a relatively dinky little thing. Like a washing machine. But, It holds way more than a weeks worth of breasts of lambs for my three, medium + sized Dogs. Fresh air doesn't come into it. I buy by the week and feed them chopped off slabs of meat and bone. Simply because that's better for them. My own convenience doesn't come into it either. Just what's best for my Dogs. Each to their own, I suppose. Totally agree with that Pete....it ain't about convenience is it....least not around here....fetching, chopping, gutting, skinning, cleaning, bagging, freezing, defros
