  9. I am guessing by the belligerent tone of his post and the way he playfully uses the local dialect in such an entertaining way , that he is using the word "bracket "as a simile for the jaw .He obviously has a predilection for literary wordplay , the fun way he skilfully manages to include the malapropism about the "hammer on the head " a la Dickens , was pure genius , if only more members showed this level of literary ambition the site would be a better place to be . well done that man !

  14. Thanks for that mate Interesting read Beast...I`ve got a 1/4 border 1/4 beardie greyhound out of Hancocks mr jones . I`ve met David Hancock but never owned a Hancock lurcher ....she was a gift off a friend and she is a very handy bitch marking /ferreting is 100% true. I have always kept border collie greyhound crosses I don't really see any beardie characteristics in her ...do you think that 1/4 beardie would show any ? if only genetics worked that simply..........she's maybe thrown more to the border side but her pups may throw to the beardie, jazz has only 3/16th b

  18. Cracking frosty morning here.... Jack took Iolo and his wee sister Cameron, a ferret and a few nets to check out burrows out the back of the house.... They had four in total....three bolted into nets...and the pup picked one up in cover..... Iolo's 26"tts now and 9 months old - he has a really mature and laid back attitude to life in general....he marked well and at this stage I couldn't be happier with his progress.... Happy days to come.....
