  1. What a great bunch of guys on here, nice to know there`s still a lot of good folk around.
  2. Which model is it ? I`ve a pal that was on the other night looking for a trigger sear or trigger unit for some old Chinese springer. Not the under lever type, he`s keen as hell but on a very tight budget, he`s trying to put something together to go hunting bunnies.
  3. OK here`s a link ! https://www.(!64.56:886/groups/515790875203237/

  6. I have a leak free .22 Carbine with scope , bag, silencer and fast free £500 .
  7. Asda Fit for Life exercise bands. Box of three for £6 or two for £10. These bands have three ratings, Yellow less resistance and not worth using. But grest for using to whip finish knots. Red great power and a lot of shooters use this, best doubled. Blue I rate this as good as Thermaband Gold. Its resistant and is a powerful band The calculations are very similar to Thermaband. Each Sheet of rubber will provide about 4 or 5 slings. Seriously good value for money. They sellout very quickly. If you go on Asda's web site and do a check you can call a few stores until you locate some. I
  8. I use a carpet knife, to notch out a track around the top of each arm. About 4 mm wide and 1.5 mm deep. This is then sanded to remove any sharp edges, as is the top of the arms. This track helps trap the bands and gives the finish a much better look.
  9. The Cubs are now out hunting on their own and often in groups, a squeak will pull them in from a fair distance. If you remain in cover after dropping the 1st one you should manage another. Great time for thinning them out. On permissions with few rabbits to shoot these can clean them out altogether by killing all the young rabbits.
  10. Sorry not looking for FAC but thanks for the offer.
  11. Got a Career 707 .22 Carbine. Good condition, Nikko Mountmaster, Silencer and bag. No leaks, accurate, considering a swap Can email pics. What you got ?

  13. I've used home made callers for years, keep your ice Lilly sticks, thicker ones are best ! Get some old audio music tapes and a roll of black tape. Around the end of each stick wrap a couple of turns of tape to create a small gap. Then place the tape on the end of a stick and using the black tape wrap it a couple of turns. You then stretch it nice and tight over the end and back to the start, wrap it off again keeping the tension tight. Cut excess and marry up to the other stick, tape both together. These are really effective and with a bit practice can pull them in from a good distance.
  14. I do vermin control and have just watched a video on U tube of some Pray master caller being used. In particular they were using it for Crows which I control on my permissions. Has anyone on here tried these ? As its American I'd not have much use for most of the calls they supply , such as Bob cat, coyote , raccoons etc. Plus it ain't cheap what would you guys recommend ? At the moment I'm using an ihunt app I downloaded to my mobile plugged into a speaker and the results have been good. I need more volume though. If you haven't tried an electronic caller yet its time to ! They really are
  15. 5 minute job, barrel seal.
  16. Well the announcement that licencing will be introduced from next year in Scotland for Air Guns is really outrageous ! If there is a loud enough voice this can still be prevented ! We need a massive petition ! If we fail to stop this up here, other Governments will be watching and its only a matter of time before your looking at a similar scenario ! A march through Edinburgh Protesting these changes would be a possible idea ! Any you guys come up with suggestions ? I`m off to write to my MP`S something needs to be done.
  17. Can't believe this hasn't been snapped up. Its in pristine condition anyone looking to get a PCP would do a lot worse than buy this?
  18. Guns good but don't like the mags, The O rings break regularly as they are open. So always carry spares. Nice light and accurate, I know a lad that has one for sale for £350 as new condition.
  19. I'm a bit fed up at the minute. My Career has started leaking, I've had it stripped down and reassembled three times. Replaced the o rings and its still bloody leaking. I'm pretty familiar with these as I've had several over the year's but this has me beat. Any advice welcome ? Or does anyone know an expert that would could help. :-(
  20. Nasty accident knocked over my cylinder and broke my A clamp Din set up. Does anyone have a spare charging kit for sale I'm desperate !
  21. As new less than 500 pellets been fired. Lovely wee Rifle very accurate comes with scope and Silencer. This would be an ideal 1st rifle for a young shooter or someone that likes no weight in their rifles. I'm looking for £300 or a swap for an S410. I'll put up pics as soon as possible.
