My FX Cyclone is going nowhere ! Or my Gladiator or Verminator had nearly everything else but love the FX range of rifles. Saving hard for an impact now. -

Any decent short Moderators ? I'm looking for a decent short Moderator? I'm using an HW which I rate highly, but it's on my Gladiator which makes it fairly long. Not great when in a hide, I'm looking to shorten it by a couple of inches if possible. Are the Belita's as good as an HW ? Or is there anything else out there ?

No problem with guys ferreting ! It's without permission ? I knew a ferreter years ago, he'd clean out a Warren faster than the you'd drink a cup of tea.

I've been very disappointed at the lack of rabbits on a few of my permissions, I was thinking the rise in buzzard numbers plus foxes and possibly this new strain of rabbit flu would explain it. Just got told this morning by a dog walker he'd met couple if chaps ferreting in October, they had a lurcher as well as a bag full of dead rabbit's . I'm not into dog hunting at all, if you are fair enough. These guys didn't have permission to be there. And they have ruined what was a pretty good area for rabbits, not over run by any means. Bloody Sickened. Rant Over.

Hi I'm getting back into flytying. I sold my kit to raise funds for a NV a few years back. Been very lucky, I got a good deal on a box of materials and tools. Looking for a few bits , can anyone help me out with woodcock wings ? Happy to pay postage.

Hi guys I sold my flytying gear to raise funds for an NV sight a few years back. I'm missing the gear now though. I managed to buy a half decent second hand kit, but there's no Mallard wings, bronze flank or the cul-de-cunnard, partridge or hare's mask. I shoot myself but only air guns and I've no ponds on my permissions. Can anyone help me out. Thanks Tam

Hi guys , I'm an airgun shooter so ducks n hare's are not for me. I have no ponds on my permissions. I'm taking up flytying again an looking for some Mallard feathers, the wings , bronze flank and the cul-de-cunnard (the small oily feathers from around the butt ) Also a hare's mask. Can anyone help ? Big thanks. Tam

I've been fortunate enough to have owned about 25 pcp rifles over the past 20 years. Rabbit pigeons and cords being the quarry. I've had several AA's several Theoben's Career 707, Gunpower Stealth , S16, Logan Axor and many more. So I do feel fairly qualified to give an opinion. I now shoot FX rifles as they are usually lightweight, good if your out hunting covering ground all day Very accurate the smooth twist barrel in the new models are now attracting the target shooters. Shot count is also good in some models over 200 shots at 11.5 ftlbs which is amazing. Power adjustment i

I met a chap who lived about 8 miles away through selling a rifle. He was keen to get into airgun hunting after a spell away from it. So I offered to take him out with me. After a few trips out I decided to offer him a few farms I had which were close to his home. I took along and introduced him to the farmer. All good so far. He then sold the gun I'd sold him at a tidy profit got a couple of ferrets and proceeded to empty the land of all rabbits. I dropped my gun Doh ! And it broke at the neck. It's beyond fixing. It's an FX Cyclone I've been told that there's a few models use the same stock ? Can anyone confirm this it might help me find one. It's a Right handed stock I'm after wood or synthetic. I did price a new one but I could buy a good second hand rifle for the same price.
