    Just sold the RWS 500 , got a good offer so that`s away. Also bought another Career 707 (thats my 3rd) and this is the best I`ve ever seen, pristine condition and never been tampered with. Can`t wait to get her out in the field.

    I bought a Deben Max Gun Lamp, which I thought was pretty dam good, in comparison to my other ones. The lamp wasn`t used much at all then.... by accident I`de left it connected to the battery in a back pack as I put it into the boot it must`ve knocked itself on. A few days later I went to use it, only to find the fully charged battery now flat. And on checking things out realised the entire plastic/glass front had disappeared...... melted away to nothing. I was annoyed as its the last thing you`de expect. But to be honest maybe I was lucky as if it had started a fire in the boot then maybe

    Just bought another gun last night a career 707 had a couple before and regretted selling my last one. Anyway that leaves me with no room in my cabinet and must sell one possibly two. AA S410 ex, AA S200 .22, Theoben Rapid 7 rifle in top condition serviced by Big Al last month,extras inc, Daystate AIR RANGER/ export model .22 These are all top drawer guns in perfect working order and will come zeroed with all necessary bits n pieces.     Thank you very much for that information/instruction.Some folk think only they know how some things are done, and enjoy telling everyone they cant do it. whats difficult to them can be straight forward to others though. That said I see no problems in particular when helpful chaps like Davie are on here to advise others.

    This is in fact a Daystate Air Ranger export model, a few were sold here in the UK. It comes in good condition, Zeroed and Scoped, with 2 X 10 shot mags, Bi-Pod, Daystate Silencer, Gun Bag. This has an Olive Green Synthetic Thumb Hole Stock. As its regulated over 500 shots per single fill saves a lot of fittering with other models. Usual Daystate qualities throughout.     I have an RWS 500 .22 which for the un knowing is a Daystate Air Ranger made for export but a few were sold here. It is typical Daystate quality, Regulated so 500 shots per single fill saves a load of hassle. Accuracy , consistency looks all in abundance. Scope. two mags, Bi-pod, Daystate silencer and bag all included. £550 yes only £550 for an Air Ranger. Gun is in lovely condition. Having probs getting pics up but can e-mail anyone interested. PS. Its the thumb-hole stock.

    That sounds about right, or possible broken trigger sear, piece of busted spring jamming trigger sear mech. These aren`t really that hard too fix. With the internet all the information needed to make the repair is available. Just a few tools and a bit of patience.

    I`m a keen Airgunner, and have over 30 years experience of vermin control, frankly I could be doing with more ground. I have noticed that there`s now more mole hills than ever before in my area. I`m thinking of approaching farmers ,offering to remove the moles from their land if they allow me to shoot the rabbits as well? What I need is is a supply of mole traps, Help! You think this might work?

    THIS IS NOW SOLD Putting this Add up for my shooting buddy. He has too many rifles and due to mechanical breakdown needs to raise funds. Ain`t someone lucky! This is a Left Handed Rapid 17 MK II in very good condition, fitted with a 400cc bottle which has a brand new valve just fitted.     The FAC S410 Classic has been around a lot longer than the S410 extra. Shot count is around 25 shots at 26ft lbs. An RFD should be able to advise on best way forward. FAC rifles are way cheaper as the market is smaller for them. Save yourself the trouble and buy one.

    Costly accident this morning, slipped on ice while out shooting busted my AA customised stock Badly scratched /scraped my scope, lost the safety from the trigger and bent the barrel just beyond the figure of eight. This was whilst sober about 8.30 am .......... Great start to the year. NOT!

    I`ve been into Air guns for a long time 30 + years and owned too many to mention. I`de check out Air Gun Review site and read up on your rifle there. Only real owners can give fair opinions good or bad of a gun and thats why Air Gun Reviews is a good site. I now read up on any new possible purchases before making my mind up.

    I have had several of those rifles, Personally I`ve more often seen shooters of the Carbine wanting to go up to the classic and never the other way around. Obviously to get more shots from the larger air reservoir on the Classic. My advice here would be take the barrel & Air Tube of the carbine and put it up for a swap on the AA owners forum or Air Gun BBS. It will be taken up in a matter of hours as there are many who seek the larger option. And as the barrel is a bit longer there may be a slight increase in ftlbs so a little tweaking could be required to bring it back under 12ftl

    RWS 500 is in fact the Daystate Air Ranger. Made for export. This is .22 and is very accurate comes with a Hawke scope, 2 x 10 shot mags and Daystate silencer. Its not been tampered with. This is a legal just under the 12 ftlb quality rifle. Cost new £970.00 check them out on google. This has the Olive Green synthetic thumbhole stock.     This is worth every penny I own several air rifles including a Rapid, To sell this and get a true price it will be snapped up quickly on the Theoben Rapid owners forum for about £550-£650. Its rare for them to sell below £500. With your scope & extras £650 shouldn`t be a problem.

    I`ve been into air gunning for way to many years and been through most makes n models. Well I`m sorry but my experience wasn`t very good, Noisy, Clunky, Horrid trigger, then Leaky. Had it all of two months, in fact I can`t recall ever owning a worse gun...... maybe Loguns S16 justs pips it. Now AA S410 thats a very different story....... Price, great value for money , can be bought cheap second hand. Accurate, very quiet, quality, attractive rifles various models to suit. 10 shot mags at around £25.     Lots of interesting comments. Just like to add chest shots cause a fair bit of bruising to the meat in particular if the pellet ends up in the spine. Shooting with a springer your unlikely to be shooting out much further than 35/40 yards and with a bit practise head shots should be the norm. PS. I very very rarely ever loose a rabbit now! not because my shootings improved but because I got a cocker spaniel pup. Seriously the best thing I`ve bought in 10 years shooting. Great fun training her, and amazed at how good they are out in the field. Anything wounded is picked up quickly and

    There is a need for some new laws here! If your dog attacks and kills a human then there should be a mandatory prison sentence. If it attacks n seriously injures then fine/possible prison sentence. Dog destroyed in all cases. Along with introduction of mandatory dog training classes for certain breeds. The cost of which along with these new laws would hopefully dissuade the bad elements from keeping them in the first place. How many times do we read in the paper of children , a baby or even owners being ravaged and killed by sweet natured gentle as a butterfly homeloving fighting dogs. Y

    Hi Folks, Just joined up.... (here) Been into hunting & fly-fishing most of my life and do as much as time and money allow. I have a cocker spaniel "Tara" who is now more n just a wee gun dog, really a part of the family now. And is the best dog I`ve ever ad. The shooting side is mainly vermin control for a few farmer friends and Ratting/Pigeon control in a couple of recycling plants. Will be on here a couple of times a week and look forward to hearing from anyone like minded.
