i live in marske, village between redcar and saltburn, im on the beach everyday, ive seen a few seals washed up, and there was a whale washed up a few years back, loads of condoms, car wheels, shopping trolleys always getting washed up!

in the words of my dad, "everyman should have a shed" but i wont be having jam jars full of nails and screws hanging from the rafters, or painted outlines of tools on the wall either,

just a few pics, as you can see i just set the stud frames out and tested the dogs in it for size! will be making the door and kennels through the week, oh and the half brick two storey thing is my other shed, well its my joinery workshop!

how many of you's have a shed? what do you use them for? i know people have lots of different uses for them, there is also a lot of websites dedicated to the shed! i ask as im in the process of making one for storage of rabbiting stuff, it will have a freezer in for game, also ive designed it to have a integral dog kennel inside, with a 8ft x 6 ft run to the side of it, but as usual i over complicate stuff so its costing alot more than i thought!! ill upload a few pics of how its coming along, yes you guessed it im bored..

ive got a bitch here, worker x worker.. mothers a saluki bull greyhound, very racy, and farther is a collie greyhound, shes not the best on the lamp tho, mind shes only 13 weeks old! looking forward to this time next year.

tomo i think your pup will turn out a great little bitch, you get to see alot more stuff than i do up here, i think my lurchers a bit lazy because she knows the terrier will find whatevers there and all she needs to do is stand at the right place and she catches it! would be great to see few pics of how pups coming along, cheers,

yep i was only joking about the pup! my older bitch sometimes lets out a yip, it really dont bother me, i dont do much lamping, or at least upto now i havn't, i just enjoy watching my dogs work and hunt up together during the day, i have a border terrier who barks like crazy when shes on something, like yesterday i was out walking the dogs and terrier started barking through cover, then my lurcher got fired up, stood at the right place and ended up with a rabbit, we got two that way, my pup was with us just watching and having a sniff about and a bit of a play with rabbits, im in no ru

i have enjoyed reading this post, some really useful information gained, i have a 13 week old pup here, hope she turns out ok and not a YAPPER, but if she does there's plenty of river to throw her in round here...

cheers dom, yeah shes out of good workers, her dad is owned by the guy who has that website i told you about, hes collie whippet greyhound, and mother is a saluki whippet greyhound with touch of bull, bit different to jess lol.. hope your mate gets sorted with a pup, cheers.

there is a post in the lurcher section asking about a stud dog in northeast, hes after something with deerhound, collie in it, i thought of your dog, ive got myself a new pup, i think ill have my hands full now!

my dad was running a job and got sent a old polish bricklayer to lay trench blocks, he was using a pointing trowel to lay the darbo and a brick instead of a hammer to tap the blocks level..

im sick of the building trade, my dads a joiner too, hes 61 and still scratching about for work, im bored of the work now, thought about trying to set up making kennels, ferret boxes etc.. im building a new set up at the moment at home, i could of easily bought a kennel and run for alot cheaper online, but im a nightmare for quality, it would drive me mad if the nails and screws wern't in line or sticking out a bit.. lol might do on a course at college in politics, im sure you can learn everything you need to become a politician in a day!

thanks for replys, wm its not me taking the pics, i was out with my friend who,s a young wildlife photogrepher, i wouldnt know what camera he has, all i know its got a long lens on lol.. hes had a fair few pics in books and mags, check out www.wildlife-through-the-lens.co.uk some great pics on there,
