  8. sounds like my bitch now, she was like a big pup for what seemed ages, shes about 2year 2months now, and starting to look like she knows what she's doing! so im ok with slow maturing dogs, the pup is out of wilson, hancocks yound stud beardie, im a big fan of rough coated dogs and dogs with brains!
  9. thanks for replies, the lurcher ive got was slow to mature, shes only young still, but the penny seems to have dropped now! shes a deerhound, collie greyhound, ive got my name down on the beardie from yes you've no doubt guessed.. hancock! i know people have very mixed reviews about said man but i want a straight beardie greyhound, with nothing else in the mix, and he has them there! where i live and walk daily is mainly woodland, plenty of cover, with few fields here and there so want a dog to find stuff in cover and ive been told beardies are good at this lets hope so..

  11. hi, does anyone own or owned this cross, how do you find them work wise? im 99% sure im getting one in ean of jan so just would like to hear from guys who have worked this cross, thanks

  15. morning, was out lamping last night something i dont do often, my bitch got 12, so a bonus! just thinking what do you guys use to carry the lamp and rabbits about, do you use say a big rucksack to keep them in etc, i dropped them at gateways on route round to collect in van, on someland you must have to carry the lot with you?! as i say i dont lamp much so any advice would be good, thanks
  16. i found them really good, the boots were £195 on website but £185 in shop and got some free wax/dubbing too, they had a fair few deals on other boots too so best leave your bankcard at home! lol
  17. well got my new boots.. after some good advice on here i opted for alt-bergs gamekeeper boots! had 2 good walks and there very comfy! i think ill be going back to the factory and buying another pair of there walking boots for everyday use!
  18. i got myself some alt-berg gamekeeper boots yesterday, having had some issues with buying meindle boots online regarding sizes, im loving my altbergs i went to the factory and got sized up so the boots fit perfect, i would recommend these boots to anyone
  19. i think any terrier will pick marking up if its out and about where there are rabbits, my border x patt marks spot on, shes so chilled out normally so when she takes a interest in a hole theres a rabbit in there, guess we all get to know how our dogs mark etc by there body langauge! shes just had a litter of pups so ill have 2 terriers at it soon! just hope the lurcher can keep up now!!
  20. my bitch is as soft mouthed as anything with rabbits, just keeps hold of them with enough force so they dont get away, she is still young too, but she is a different dog when shes gets bigger things, its like she really loves the chase,

    i think alot of people have it, things such as checking the doors locked, sockets turned off etc, i know a guy that only wears red trainers, and carrys his own knife and fork around with him where ever he goes,
