    Where a lot of people go wrong is where they train dogs,I like to get up early before the farm starts,with whatever pup I am training,limit the distractions i.e. other dogs different smells just you and the pup,if you can get the pup to come five feet before you it wont belong before it comes all the way,good luck and remember be patient.

    how often do you see a woman working terriers (groundwork) i gues your a lass how would you cope in a 6 ft dig? its like asking a man about cooking and cleaning the usual women stuff horses for courses To name but a few Penny Taylor Helen Travers Kath Smith Would agree with you about prices and consideration over Judges dont know who judged and what they picked so I cant comment on this show however would disagree about the male female thing,there are good terrier lurcher and dog women out there ,there are also some shit ones as there are men.

    it was just a question/ i didnt stay long enough for best in show,wrong choice for best pup.just my opinions It was my bedlington pup that had best pup , and there are not many lovers of the breed in the valleys !     For a bit of fun at last years Heart of Wales game fair we time raced the fastest lurcher of the day a whippet grey against my son on his goes like shit of a brick honda racing quad the course was approx 100 yards going up a hill perfectly mown and picked by yours trully. The Lurcher owned by nick devraux from Hereford done it in 6.4 seconds the quad 7.2 It is a bit more serious this year sponsors have stumped up £100 for the fastest lurcher and it has to time race the winner of a rally car racing quad and scrambler

    Intresting thread worked for the biggest pest control company in the world then become training manager for the second biggest in britain.Decided to go it alone four years ago,if I had to rely on rabbit work alone would be sitting down three days a week .     One of the best shows I have attended for atmosphere and quality of dogs,not many carpet checkers up that part of the country,Iam sure it will go from strength to strength,they will have my support again next year,perhaps I will con a lift next year,fastest raffle draw I have ever seen

    Nope they are deffo rattus norvegicus. and I doný want to use poison because if they snuff it gehind some pallets and start stinking I am the one who has to rumage around thewarehouse and find them. Another thing is if I poison them I´ll not be able to feed them to my snakes . And yes I will be having a go at the wabbits here on the finca Has anything other than rats have access to the warehouse ie non target species

    I once had a pair of working blue roan cocker spaniels one of which was a bitch,she worked like a demon you could not ask for more out of a dog. Bred her several times over the years four litters in total,after some peer presure was persuaded stupidly to have her spayed,she died after having come out of the anesthesia,worst decision I ever made reguarding a dog in my life. I kennel all my bitches and dogs seperate I am fortunate or a good planner to have the kennel space to do this. This is just my humble opinion but I dont tend to mess with things that I would not want messed with

    Bought a Dennis Kirk calling machine from target sports of Bolton had great success with mine have to agree though there is nothing that will call everything

    Good backpack with padded shoulder straps rap foam or carboard around your battery to stop it falling over and knocing you leads,you can put your catch in on top as well then leaves both of your hands free,one for the lamp the other for the dog lead or opening gated.
