  8. Whatever you do break him to sheep if he is kept as a pet and comes accross them by accident ,will cost you lots of grief. If you are going to hit a dog hit it only with a rolled up paper wont hurt them but it scares the shit out of them.   9. Took mine out Mole trapping today and a Red Kite come in low above us she did not take her eyes of him once.

Got 2500 sheep always a worry dog chasing them well done for asking I normally introduce as early as possible long length of rope with a choker when he goes to run after them yank him back and say you naughty boy or words to that effect, do this a few times he will soon learn some people use shock collars I will only use them on adult dogs.

To everyone who bought pups from me ,what a credit to the countryside you people are,traveling from all over the uk ,turning up when you say your going to ,putting a lot of thought in to your choces,I am sure my pups could not have gone to better homes good luck and Hunting It just goes to show how good a website this site is I never had to advertise anywhere else ,and I shall be making a contribution

He will be back probably disturbed dog barking or something,about ten years ago my mate was rearing turkeys had them in some railway containers on an alotment forgot to lock them in one night fox killed the lot about eight a clock in the evening ,me and my mate climbed up on the shed with a shotgun and lamp about nine the next night called for about 15 mins big dog fox come accross the valley to the sheds,never killed another turkey after that night.

Could not agree with you more,however if you are not able to go down the lines of another dog for whatever reason,this is what I would considering your Lurcher runs on and disappears,take him for a walk on a slip lead at dusk or dawn just as the rabbits are sitting out should be some youngsters about this time of year,I think youwould find this more fun than what you are suggesting admire your enthusiasim though . She has a superb nose as do most good GSD ,she caught her last lamped rabbit by accident two days after having the pups,took her for a walk so that she could do her busines about 9 oclock at night I only had a little rechargable and my slippers went behind the back of the farmhouse with her she coming flying past me by the time I had work out what was going she was on her way back to me with a fully fit adult rabbit in her mouth.She has taken squaters but running rabbits to,she would not be as fast as a lurcher hence the reason for breeding.She retreives foxes for me when I shoot them,she is q
  22. yes my other half has been mentioning a bedlington whippet for a while now but there not the most attractive of dogs are they!! sorry if [NO TEXT TALK] has got one id be interested in seeing some pics if [NO TEXT TALK] ghas got some to share If you want a genuine good all round working dog and good with children buy a beddlington whippet research the parents particulary the Beddlington side socialise it well with the children and you will not go far wrong .
