Would of thought it would be similar in working qualities to your Bull cross in ways,Not that it wouldn't be a good cross.Wouldn't a more raceyer type of dog be a better addition to you.I think the mating would be ok if the bed/whippet were the dog and Bull/Grey the bitch. My 21" Whippet has mated a 26" Saluki/Grey in past,It was awkward and had to be assited mating.

Think would be have good grit, determination from Bed/Bull and a fair bone structure.Good hardy lamping dog, with a touch of whippet for fire and turn of speed.Go for it.

will give em a call thanks gnasher

Thanks Shane

Alot of greyhound trainers use treadmills.
-
Would never have more than a 1/4 Bull in a dog as they lose alot of speed and the Bull blood is quite dominant through the generations.Know a guy with a Bull x Greyhound and has had alot of muscle/shoulder injury problems,As Bull crosses tend to be quite muscle bound

They should all be made to do 5 years national service in the forces,Would soon see who wants to be british. It also makes me wonder if we had a world war 3 would the foreigners in this country fight for England,I don't think so. All the politicians do is make out they are trying to combat it,Its ok for them with there mansion's and acres of big enclosed gardens.Saw Panorama the other night looking at immigration in Slough.Very upsetting. This has caused House prices to rises as English people who live in the cities move further and further to outskirts of the country and over populates the

When had Lurchers for Lamping always gone for a dog bred in the way of a small fast dog to a big strong dog.And that Blue dog would suit the first side.Is he a non- ped Whippet?

Feed SUPA GREYHOUND (20% protien) 6 days a week and a Lightly boiled MINCED BEEF and PASTA 1 days a week

who is the blue dog

I find the James wellbeloved ferret food is good for keeping weight on them.I have only used this when given some in exchange for looking after someones ferrets. But it is 40%protien and don't think they can use that amount up so gets turned to fat and is alot to go through kidneys.Mine mainly get rabbits/chicken/pigeon that I freeze.Have 2 ferrets at the moment I am looking after while owner is away and have been fed on James wellbeloved and are grotesk with rolls of fat and couldn't do a mornings yet days work.Rabbits keep um lean.Eat rabbit,Smell rabbit out working.

Yes rabbits seem to breed pretty much all year round.Last year ferretting we would get a few bolt in a set then a lie up on young when ferret reaches them and this was in november.Winters seem abit mild. And this pattern went on for a while.

MOST PEOPLE HAVE TUNNEL VISION WHEN IT COMES TO WORKING WHIPPETS,EITHER TO SMALL OR MUST BE SOOTY SAM LINES.SHOULD HAVE SOME CRACKING SPORT WITH HER. This is my ped race bred bitch 19" tts 22lbs,has never caught more than 7 IN 1 1/2 hours. She could probably get into double figures. She catches 40% of rabbits in by the hedge,Doesn't like cover.she is good sport as its non-stop twisting turning on quarry,WHICH PERSONALLY I ENJOY THE MOST,and no over shooting them. This is my Coursing bred dog 21"tts 34lbs.Better instinct, stamina.works cover well.Better than

A couple of miles cycling at a fast trot for the dogs works well,Not running. During the winter mine get Monday 20 minutes walk Tuesday 3-4 miles trotting next to me on a cycle and get slipped if we pass a field and see a chase in there, only 2 dogs Wednesday 20 minutes walk or bit of retreiving tennis ball Thursday Same as Tuesday And one night at the weekend lamping and maybe a mooch with the lamp on a wednesday. Lamping is definately the best way to get a dog fit.Or a few runs behind a lure once a week. THE TROTTING IS SIMILIAR TO THE TREADMILL BUT I THINK ITS BETTER CYC

I've never known or seen a dog be able to catch 6 hares single handed or in a brace. 3 is the most,Even fit, experienced, faithful and determend dogs would run themselves to death. Just to catch a hare is a real grueller of a challenge for any dog. So the rabbit dog it would be.

I think the question chartpolki was are they any good at rabbiting i can only speak as i find chart and i find my dog would take some beating I have this dog.Has Sooty sam 3 generations back.No hyped up breeder web page.Cracking working day/night.Good snap dog,Had hours of sport.Has 4 litters due around Aug-Sept 3 ped 1 non-ped not sure how many have been spoken for.And previous litters proving themself well.A dog is what you make it.Breeding is only one of the tools, not a guarantee for a working dog.But from what I have heard of LYNPERRY so far they are good workers. Not heard of an

Hang on you have just approached me about a service off of my whippet and your getting rid of one.If you have no time for dogs, lack of kennel space and hard to control, how would you fare with a litter of Pups.
-
SUPA GREYHOUND good grub dogs always look strong when on it good value for money.
-
Maybe he could throw 23" pups. Will have to wait and see when he covers a sooty sam bitch,Give us ring if you want to use him when your bitch comes in.Will be interesting mating. From my point of view where I race they have to be 21"or under dog , 20" or under bitch to get affiliated/passported for racing. A 23" whippet would only be benifical for working purposes to me.My dogs work through out the winter and race through the summer.I would not like to keep a dog that I could work all winter then be laid up in summer apart from abit of bushing. So under 21" is ideal for situation a
