  1. i give mine egg mixed with goats milk, a bit of paste, whisk it up, they love it and keeps them going on a hard days graft

  5. How many had been eaten? not unknown for a jill to have a single kit Y.I.S Leeview not sure mate, all i know is there was a lot of blood in the bed box so i presumed that they had been eaten.
  6. Thankyou for all your replies, ive got a copy of purdeys progress good dvd, plus the follow on lurcher field craft, crackin dvd's, the dam and sire were 23tts so she should make around that size give or take an inch
  7. i wouldnt mate, i had it once, i came home from work to find that my jill had her kits very early, whilst in the jill court, they was only one kit left, the rest had been eaten, gutting!!!! so to be on the safe side i wouldnt mate.

Hi all this is my 8 week old collie/grey x beddi/whippet, had her from 6 weeks, training is coming on well, retrieving a teddy to hand, she cries at the back door when she needs the toilet, but i dont really want to cram to much training at the min, whats your opoinions? she seems to be very bright and pick things up very quickly, never had a dog like it.
  9. my seven week old collie/grey has just stopped crying on a night after a week, but youve got to expect it when theyve just left their mother, brothers and sisters, now she sleeps all the way through.
  10. my mrs is the soft one, i always get calls, have u lost a ferret? and gess what we always end up with it, mind you ive got enough room for the little stinkers
  11. I do some ferreting round that area, and usally throw a rabbit to the red kites, and watch them swoop down for them, lovely to watch
  12. just go to a local gamefair, you will spot him, i always end up buying sumert from him.

  15. feed her high protein foods, i give mine rabbit, kitten meat, vitalin, bit of goats milk, to keep her strength up, its best to leave the kits alone until they exit their nest and exploring the cage, all depends on if the mother will let you cos she will let you know if she's not comfortable with it!!!

  17. i usally put kitten meat and goats milk in for the mother, the kits will wean them selves at around 3-4 weeks when they start to leave the nest and explore mate
  18. sooner the better for me, (beginning of season) start off on small warrens mate and progress from there
