    Didn't have to dig once today there was some young uns about but they ran straight through the nets keeping the dog busy and they are v fast the little ones in the bottom of the hedge, when they went down the next warren i didn't mind thats next winters sport

    Out on permission today the first warren i did there were about 4 holes rabbit size and there was some smaller holes which i took to be for young uns or bolt holes netted up tried to enter my first jill and she would'nt go down just kept comming back to the net so i entered my polecat jill she went straight down and i could hear abit of squelling going on so i thought she was with a rabbit but then 3 rats came flying out through my nets i shit myself and legged it, dog took of after 1 but it climbed a tree, but after that the first jill was good as gold comming out when all had bolted. i had

    Hi Lee sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I was waiting to see if a guy rang me, so have just acquired some new permission and it would be rude not to go over and show my face, but saying that I am interested in coming over and giving you a hand, been pm'd by some others who would like a lift over and I'm happy to do that as I have a crew cab so can bring a few Northampton boys if your interested, but just not this week end.     Jill we're breeding off this year is like that. It's always nice to see a 'wildlife expert' gets excited about something he's never seen before. I see a few each year, just goes to show that sitting still in a field is far better than rushing around with a camera crew.     What x is he as some ped whippets can be fast but slow too catch as they can be too honest behind quarry. Bryan.

    It's a numbers game mate if you put him behind enough bunnys he will eventually get it let him rag a few ferreted bunnys and if you've got somebody you can go out with that has a good dog double him up on them he'll soon get what you want, sounds as if he is keen to chase he needs to see the reward at the end. Keep him keen and put him behind some bunnys ATB with him mate Bryan.

    Surely you mean 3 monthes old? Just a guess but i would think he means he has bought it and not picked it up yet. Yes, that sounds possible never thought of that Yes sorry I have just chosen her at 3weeks old and pick her up in another 5 weeks she will be a year old for next seasons lure coursing which starts in march, but old enough to come out and watch my other on the bunnys in winter.     Just purchased my second whipp only three weeks old at the mo gonna work her with the ferrets and race, lure course the summer lot of sport to be had with these dogs Regards Bryan.
