She couldnt do any better than getting another Staff for a pet, loads aboot and they are perfect....its just a shame for the breed that the mongs have picked up on it and use them to look 'hard'........ha! I used to keep them, they are the least hard man-dog there is....my old dog used to keech it from loud noises outside!! I am sure someone on here most have a staff they are looking to re-home???

No bother, WHATSAPP and VIBER both good.....

Their shootie in Scotty, if you get stuck give me a shout and I will talk you through it.......loads of good apps you can download too, let you have free texts and free talktime, nae need to jailbreak! The good thing about the free texts is free picture messages which a lot of providers charge for - nice!! Get yourself a decent wifi sniffer app and you will never need to use your limit....

I worked on a farm in Germany when I was a teenager and the farmer had the standard size longhairs....working stock through and through. The farmer used them for tracking deer and wild boar.....hardy dogs. Lost one big dog to a boar badger, went down the sett and we couldnt get to him, very hard animals.... The ones on the farm slept in beside the pigs!! Used to fight with them to get in at the scoff.....I have never seen one that looked like the farm dogs here tho....

That pair reminds me of rugby tours to llanelli, shudddddddeeeerrrrr! Some of them should be haunting castles........monsters!

How was your 2011 deer season
Wullz replied to Canadian Black Bears's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
We try and manage our own wee bits, try and keep an eye on the numbers of bucks and does....but we can be up against it with poachers.......my mate and myself limit it every year, based on the numbers we note during the year....we have several wee areas that wee look after. The farmers like us to keep the numbers of roes down....as the other poster mentioned, the numbers have exploded recently.......I have seen roe grazing right inside Glasgow on the banks of the [bANNED TEXT] motorway..... -
It was good mate, alhough the weather and tide was against me a wee bit. Only got 1 night on the beach, which can be really good. Listen to your mate there, Castle Stuart can be good, so can McDermotts old place, there is a big lagoon down there and plenty of ducks and geese roost down there.... Have a good trip and let us know how you go.....there are thousands of geese up there at the moment and plenty of ducks too......

Got two greylags this morning, thousands of birds and the weather kept them low, cracking flight...back to work tomorrow.....boo!!!
-
Nothing doing yesterday, they were there alright, but lack of wind allowed them up in dribs and drabs all over the shop...no chance of a shot. Should be good tonight with this wind and I will be out again in the morning....noone else venturing out?? Heard you had to queue up at Findhorn to get a shot?
-
Heading out now, yawn......will let yees know later how it goes. Weather ok today, bad forecast for rest of the week - :-D

Merry christmas everyone, took a nice greylag this morning, took two shots to get him down, bad aiming in the wind!! Either that or slightly off aim with christmas excess! There are thousands out there, just need to get under them! I will be out again tonight on the beach, anyone else get any?

Hi, I have a Hoggs of Fife Derby Tweed shooting jacket for sale. Its an extra large, in great condition, hardly worn. On outside it has two moleskin handwarmer pockets, two bellows cartridge pockets with tags to keep them open, inside has a wee wallet pocket and a poachers pocket. Greenish in colour, waterproof, windproof and very warm, cracking winter jacket. Looking for £50 posted to your door, £45 collected from West Lothian or I will swap anyone who has an xxl....I need more length in the sleeves for my simian arms!! cheers folks......

Gumtree mate, you have to be on the ball, but you will get one eventually. Took me 5 weeks, but got one for 25 quid......

Made me laugh Scot!! Cheered me up, got sent home (good), found my greenhouse smashed to bits and a window stoved in on my shed! Doh! Now I have pheasants and ducks to clean and pluck in a windy shed and I have some serious glazing to do!!!
-
We had these on the farm I worked on in Germany, standard wire hairs, tough as anything I have seen. Slept in beside the big boar porkers! Lost the big dog (Rigo) down a badger sett, these things dont back down! Good with humans tho......good on a follow up for stalking and top at keeping vermin down. Dont be confused with the sh!te you see on the streets, same as any worker that has become a fashion icon......worlds apart.

I've had my Pajero since 2000, its brilliant, I will have another one when this one dies, but there is no sign of that so far!!! Mine is the SWB 2.5 import and I cant fault it, all I have done is service it, easiest thing I have ever serviced!! A filter kit is a tenner from Milner Off Road! New exhaust, tyres, front shocks, bulbs and a new clutch at 100,000 and changed the belts.....nowt for 11 years driving and never let me down...rust not a problem.....couple of wee bits starting to show last year, thats all.... She stinks, is noisy, drinks diesel, but never lets me down....get one!

Packed it in for about 9 months now......feel better, but when all the gunk comes oot yer lungs it not nice!! Cheapest fags ever were in Bangkok, £4 for 200 marlie lights......I was in hog heaven, smoked like a beagle on that holiday!!
